Peek'n Peak Resort offers a stay that's lauded for its cozy, comfortable atmosphere and spacious rooms, with many guests appreciating the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. While the service receives a mix of reviews, with commendations for helpful staff but also reports of unresponsiveness, the value of the resort is debated; some find it reasonable, whereas others question the cost relative to the services and amenities provided.
Although the accommodations boast desirable features like fireplaces, there's a call for updates, particularly in the noisy pool area and rooms with dated furniture.

The unit was well equiped for the kitchen with a comfortable living room area. We never figured out theTV in there. TVs had 2 remotes, and it would have been helpful to have some directions for non techie seniors. The beds were okay but the pillows were awful. Each bedroom had a King size bed with 2 large heavy king size pillows that felt like they were stuffed with rags. I found one smaller pillow in a closet that was more manageable in size but also hard. It was also the first place I've stayed recently that did not have shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the showers. After being greeted by very friendly staff who said just call if you need anything 24/7, we were surprised to find the bistro and office completely shut down for 2 days with no staff anywhere. We were in the downstairs unit of a 4 plex with heavy footsteps overhead. Arriving in the dark made it very hard to find the unit. We did not look for the pool since the weather was cool. It was probably a half mile away in the check in area. During ski season it would probably be great. There is not a lot to do in the surrounding area. A car is required.

Great place to teach kids skiing at a comfortable pace, everything was easily accessible and right on site which was great. Rooms were pretty good, everything you would need but dated and needing better placement of outlets, charging ports and need more closet space. But the prices are appropriate. Love that there was good coffee on site and loved all the fireplaces everywhere, made it very cozy and authentic as a ski lodge experience. Only real complaint we have is the maid service; they never cleaned the room or bathroom once in our 4night stay, they just took out the trash and made the beds one time, despite us asking for them to come. Hope these things improve as we would like to come back!

We are a retired couple in our seventies. We had to climb stairs to enter the hotel. The doors did not open automatically and there wasn’t any staff to open them for you. We had three bags and a hanging clothes bag. There were no carts because the hotel has no elevators. We then had to climb several stairs and go through another door that was hard to open. Then through another door and up another set of staircases that had a smell that was so horrible you had to hold your breath or nose. We finally got to our room only to discover there was a narrow staircase that led to the beds. The bathrooms were on the first level. My husband has a bad knee so you can imagine how frustrated we were. We told management we were very unhappy. But nothing was done. The next morning we did have an opportunity to move to the first floor but we were only there for one more night and didn’t want to deal with our luggage and all those stairs. No complaints on the bedding. The restaurants were severely understaffed which created long waits. The hotel needs updating, especially the bathrooms which are small, and in places damaged. Only one person can be in the bathroom at a time. I’m hoping that before they add anymore outdoor activities, they renovate the entire hotel. It was very disappointing and I would not return.

Best trip ever!!! We stayed at a Northgate condo and it couldn't have been any nicer!! We could literally ski out the door and over to the hill. The condo was beautiful, clean, well stocked and so cozy and convenient. The resort staff were amazing and very accommodating. We called maintenance about one the toilets and then literally came in 10minutes!! The price was very reasonable, the cost per night was 300$ for a 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo with kitchen, living room, & fireplace. And we received 20$ off per lift ticket for staying on sight. Ski conditions were amazing and never once waited in a line for the lift. Can't recommend this resort enough, it's on the smaller size but well maintained and completely family oriented. Also...Spa is top notch!!

I payed a little over $2,000 for 2 rooms for a long weekend stay. Both rooms were NEVER serviced despite me asking for them to be the last 2 days. The front desk staff never pick up the phone. The television remote did not work in one of the rooms so we did not watch television at night. The water was brown and smelled like wet dog. The Grill was recommended on our first night. All four in our party had the worst meals and experience ever. The burgers were dry, the fries were soft and cold, the waitress never checked on us-not even once. When we came in they did not have a lot of customers, and the waitress told us we had to eat inside because she refused to take 2 tables outside! We could have stayed at a La Quinta for half the price and received better service. We will never return and DO NOT recommend Peek n’Peak Resort. Really Disappointed.

Good our condo was very nice had everything you need lots of extra pillows and blankets. Nice pans and dishes we were able to cook meals with no problem. The TV had lots of channels and good instructions on how it worked. The washer and dryer was a very nice option. They had paper towels trash bags soap no complaints on the condo .This is our third visit first time we stayed in the hotel not great very difficult for a handicap person to get around. Second visit we stayed in a condo it was ok not as nice as the one we just stayed in. BAD our grandchildren are good swimmers they are now 9 and 11 so we don't worry to much while they are swimming good thing as the life guards are awful never really watching the kids especially in the inside pool. It was very difficult to get their attention to get a towel and all 3 days they had NO towels. They would not help the kids with using a credit card to buy drinks or ice-cream. No cash so you have to use a credit card. It is so slippy in the in door pool and that's the handicap way into the pool area you need to fix that. UGLY You can not bring food or drinks to the pool ok so I had checked the menu it was ok until we went to order first time we were told they were too busy come back. Ok we went back only to find out we could only get pizza nachos and pretzels. Ok next day same things next day same thing no napkins with our so called lunch awful service.Good thing we were only there 3 days why have a menu you don't serve? Not sure there will be a forth visit being handicap it's very hard to get around in this day in age you should do better.

The unit is on the second floor next to the ski run. It was very quiet and relaxing to spend our mornings enjoy the view and coffee. The unit has spacious bedrooms with each having their own bathroom. The guest room has a tub/ shower combo and one sink while the master has a jetted tub and separate shower and two sinks. There is also a full bath off the kitchen with a shower. When you come in to the unit thee is a foyer with a bench and places for jackets. The good size open dinning room sits six at the table. The living room is large and is furnished with a couch, loveseat and large chair. A swivel tv is on the fireplace wall . A balcony with chairs is off of the living room. Each bedroom has an additional tv. Their is a laundry room off of the kitchen with stacked washer and dryer. The unit has a Keurig and two other coffee pots. The front desk manager was delightful and touched base with us making sure everything was okay. There is a grocery store we used in North East Pa ( Sanders) that had everything we forgot to bring. Presque Isle State park is only 25 min away. The master bed was very comfortable.

So our family and another family found this Gem last year during Covid and we absolutely adored it plus the price was really reasonable $806 to be exact for 3 night 4 ski passes for each day, a $90 dining credit and s’more kits. Flash forward same time it’s double the price with only ski passes for 2/3 days and a $60 credit..we were in a different area and the room we got had no sun shade and they couldn’t do anything about it:-( It was fun waking up when the sun came out on my vacation 😂 our neighbors had to ask for an extension cord to plug their hotel lamp in, we both had no blankets or sheets for pull out couch and I had no hangers. Also room service no longer allowed to come in to replenish towels etc.. so you have to put everything in front of your door and call down to have them drop off in front of your door but if you don’t then all of a sudden you’re out of toilet paper and your husband is asking you to go down to the front desk to grab some 😂 also the washer and dryer were broken. If they did some renovations this place would be totally worth that price but if they don’t they should go back to the cheaper prices.

I paid a lot of money for the “Kensington Suite” with a jacuzzi tub that “sleeps 4”. The room smelled heavily of marijuana when we arrived. The bathroom floor had dried urine around the toilet. There were pieces of dog food along the base boards. The jacuzzi tub only delivered freezing cold water so we couldn’t use it. How does a room with one king sized bed sleep 4? Had to get tiny rollaway beds for the kids that took up half the room. The air conditioner rattled loudly every time it turned on. Went to get ice with my child and there were 4 young men in a maintenance room with the door open swearing like truckers and talking about drugs (both times I passed). The outdoor pool was absolutely packed with heavily intoxicated people. The DJ was blasting music in the small pool area. It was difficult to watch and we left in about 30 minutes.

My family and i stayed 1 night in a king suite We all loved this resort 4 of us 40, 39, 16, 2 We loved the pools and falicities. The rooms and bed were comfortable We stayed in room 1213, it was close to the pool and lobby. The cafes and restaurants were expensive and the location is secluded from going off resort. They only real complaint i have and would make me consider not staying again is the cashless system. There are a lot of stairs at the resort to if you have any limitations. We had no problems and it tired out the 2 yr old :)
