My wife and I stayed for one night in May and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is in the heart of Main Street and couldn’t have been better. The owner was so welcoming, answering any question that we had and after we had checked out when I contacted him to say I thought I’d left something at the hotel (turns our I hadn’t… sorry!) he literally responded within two minutes and checked the room for it. Most hotels do not reply that quickly. The rooms are behind a cafe which, while a little unusual, fits perfectly with the vibe of Cold Spring itself. It all added to the sense that we stayed somewhere unique. While we didn’t eat at the cafe it smelled and looked amazing. Room was spotless, bed was big and comfortable and air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. We would definitely stay again!

My friends and I struggled to find an affordable restaurant on a packed october Saturday. Suddenly, we stumbled into this restaurant. This restaurant did not disappoint. The manager and his employer were very easy-going and helpful. I truly enjoyed my gyro platter which came with an abundance of vegetables. The restaurant was clean, the prices were right, the food was tasty, and the portions were fair. I would have preferred if the food came with fries or another side, but I was satisfied with our choice to dine here.

The hotel has very executive suites, perfect lounge for VIP, a great pull and is at the centre of homabay town. The cocktails are amazing and the employees are very respectful. It has an ideal arrangement for meetings and conferences.

On a sunny summer Saturday, it can be very challenging to get a table at a Cold Spring restaurant for lunch--competition is fierce! After trying several places on Main Street to no avail, my husband and my friend and I walked across the street to the Cold Spring Cafe (downstairs from the Cold Spring Hotel). It's such a modest place, it doesn't exactly draw people in, but the food is remarkably fresh, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the location couldn't be more perfect, nestled among the shops of Main Street. We had a table outside where we enjoyed our fresh salads and what may have been the best avocado toast I've ever had, while engaging in excellent people watching. Don't let this unassuming place fool you! It's as good as any eatery in Cold Spring.

What a lovely experience. We were on holiday from Ireland. Our host was exceptionally friendly and informative. We got to sit outside and were served nice coffee and an additional snack with our sandwich. The restrooms were spotless and fully serviced. There are rooms to let which are clean and well furnished. An overnight stay in this quaint hotel would be worthwhile.

This little gem is conveniently located near everything you want to do in Cold Spring. It's a quick walk from the train, right at the town center where you have your pick of restaurants, bars, and shops. We walked to a local hiking trail in less than 30 minutes. The room was super clean, the bed was comfy and the owner Jimmy was the best! He showed us great hospitality and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We willl definitely return for another visit. Thanks Jimmy!

Boutique hotel located above and behind a cafe. Rooms are modest but spotless! Owner, Jimmy, could not have done more to help us feel welcome and ensure that our 3-night stay was uncomfortable. Rooms are reasonably priced, and the location is right in the center of town. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean, everything in good shape. Checkout is early at 10.00am, and you cannot leave your bags there if you plan to stay for the day. We were at a loss about what to do with the bags. Thin walls, but yes, it is affordable and well maintained.

I recently had an overnight stay at this beautiful little gem located in the heart of Cold Spring. Jimmy, the owner, was so welcoming and eager to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Water and snacks are readily available for guests. In the evening, a few guests were relaxing on the front patio and we enjoyed great conversation and laughs. It was topped off by one guest entertaining us with his guitar. It's an easy walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Once the stores close, it is very easy to get a parking spot in front of the hotel. Loved my stay. I would do it again.

I recently spent one night there. What I love about the place is the location and the bed, both excellent. Everything else is rather average. My room was clean and not at all attractive. Staff - the owner - is there only from 10 am to 5-6 pm, while cafe is open. When I came back in the evening I could not get  TV work and there was nobody to ask for help because the owner had already left. It is not Bed and Breakfast either because there is no breakfast, which is quite strange as the cafe is on the first floor. For early breakfast I went to Dunkin Donuts 2 min away (around the corner from the church across the street, and the supermarket is right there too.) Overall, this place did not add to the pleasure of being in the lovely charming Cold Spring.
