I have stayed several times at Moonbay Villas when I need to have a quiet, peaceful, restful, energizing place to work and stay in Subic. the ambience is very good, it is across the street from the bay, there is wifi throughout the resort, staff are courteous and friendly, and it is very clean! Its my secret (not so anymore) work place and get a way joint!

I dont understand the good reviews. Maybe it depends on a not so high standard. Of youre that, then go ahead. But if your not, continue reading. First. This hotel does not have it's own website so cancellation will be a hell. The phone numbers jn the website do not work. Wtf? The hotel concierge will be of no help. They will only say, it's a third party reservation and they cant do anything about it. (Maybe if the hotel has it's own booking website, them maybe you can help their customers!) So if you want to be hassled just to cancel, if thats youre thing then this hotel is for you. Goodluck with that. Second. The cheap rate is a bait because in reality, they will have additional P2k charge. So Be careful when booking online because the real rate is at the bottom of the webpage way after the 'continue with reservation' button! So chances are, you will clikc the 'continue with reservation button' thinking that youre just paying the bait cheap price because before that button, no other rates are mentioned! I fell victim and it's my fault. Im not used to cheap tricks like this specially when Marriott never pulled one on me. Great. Had i known i will pay much more then i should have booked in a much much better hotel. Oh wait. I cant cancel because cancellation is just gonna be a hassle. Third. The room is dated and needs alot of TLC if not a total reno. They should include the disclaimer-objects in the picture appear much better than they are in real life) , There are a lot of better hotels for better prices and services so please, scout for other hotels in subic. For the price i paid. It didnt even include a breakfast buffet but what the heck, i dont even want to be seen in this hotel.

Location: is near to establishments, convinience stores and restaurants. Amenities: jacuzzi, kiddie and adult pool with slide. Not advisable to swim at the beach. It has lots lf garbage everywhere. Room: clean with AC, hot shower with free toiletries like toothpaste, towels slippers, soap and shampoo. Has lots of cabinets for storage. Has mini ref and safe. Staff: polite and helpful Check in and check out is fast and straightforward. But has a deposit fee of 2 thousand pesos. Has nearby massage spas and salon. Their complimentary breakfast is so-so only has few choices and just has the basic breakfast such as rice, hotdog, pancakes, bread, cereals, beef, pasta, hot soup, juice and coffee etc.

Had the privilege to enjoy a few days at the resort to recharge. Staff is warm and very attentive to guest needs. Didn't make it into the wave pool, however, I did relax in the main pool several times. Loved being able to have masseuses come to our room for well deserved treatments! Looking forward to the next visit!

We stayed for a total of three nights- sat-sun and mon-wed. We decided to extend our stay since my son was enjoying himself so much with the slides and pool. Check-in: very strict with 2 o clock check in. We were given the same room when we returned (after an overnight trip at Acea) but we were hoping they would offer an upgrade when we extended since it wasn’t very packed on weekdays, I even requested for them to just allow us to stay in the same room, they wanted to give us the same type of room but on the second floor. I mean, don’t you appreciate that we’re extending? You didn’t have many guests, we know that. Cleanliness: not bad but could be better especially the bathroom. Spider web and dusts were on the upper walls and ceiling. Breakfast: we appreciate that there was bacon. But there was a little confusion with the charging of my 6 six year old’s breakfast Pool: Nice and clean. The lifeguard was very nice and polite.

This is definitely a perfect example of how everything looks better in pictures. We got 4 villa rooms and 2 regular rooms. We were informed that occupancy was strictly for 2 persons so we had to pay extra for any excess. Prices were reasonable at 330/person for a mattress of 550/person for a mattress with a metal bed frame. The villas are spacious and the double beds can fit up to 2 people each but since you already pay for an extra mattress then might as well use it. Aircon is very cold which is great! They have kitchen facilities which is also great but as we were on vacation we prefer not to be cooking our own meals. There is breakfast for 2 included in the price of the room and extra person is just 380+/person. Of course, don’t expect food to be good, it’s not all bad but in fairness to them it was all you can eat. Would I recommend this place to others? Well, if you have other options then I suggest taking other BETTER options but if not, it’s not so bad. Kids did enjoy swimming and using the slides.

I attended my friends wedding last April 21 and after the wedding she invited us to moonbay marina resort where they were checked in. The unit was clean and nice it lived up to the expectation. Its near an open groud where at that time there was a concert beinh held. We went swimming and the pool was great but what i loved most was the jacuzzi near the pool was bar to ordee food and drinks. Staff were polite. I enjoyed my stay though 2br would cost P6k plus since its summer prices were much cheaper during off peak season
