Not a KOA, but met our particular needs very well. We used it as our home base for attending baseball games at Dreams Park. Family-owned campground - nice owners. Quiet and pretty location. Pond for fishing, and pool for swimming. Basic amenities.

We stayed at this campground for 4 nights/5 days. 7 miles to Cooperstown. On a nice lake with fishing, boating. Small campground and our site had water/electric/sewer/cable at a very good fee. The campground was clean, well maintained. This campground is privately owned and the owner was friendly and helpful. There is a pool. Nice place to camp if you want small, quiet and do not need a lot of amenities.

We spent two nights here in our travel trailer on a site near the larger pond. It was quiet and pretty. The grounds are well kept and the pool and facilities very clean. I would stay again if in the area.

We drove 20 hours to get there and they charged us $4 for checking in 45 minutes early. Water pressure was very poor. Bath houses were old and outdated. Trash dumpster was not accessible. Could not get Wi Fi. They also wanted to charge extra for cable TV hook up. Permanent campers were trashy. The lakes or ponds were nasty. We do not recommend this place

Close by Cooperstown Dreams Park and Hall of Fame. Clean, quiet and well cared for. Lovely setting, clean bathrooms with hot showers and plenty of privacy. The owners were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Will be staying again. Highly recommend.

Large site. Very clean. Owners were very accommodating. I would stay again in heartbeat. Sites by water & playground best. Clean playground & pool, along with couple of ponds to wet line. Laundry, arcade while you wait. Few seasonal spots, not very crowded.

Great location to stay when visiting Cooperstown. Level sites, fire wood available on site, a small camp store on site, helpful staff. Grounds are very well kept, have a small fishing pond. We stayed 5 nights.

We decided to stay at the Cooperstown Family Campground because of the proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame. We arrived just after Noon and got settled to make our way into Cooperstown. Prior to heading into town we discovered the paddle boats and decided to make a couple of laps around the pond. It was a great way to decompress after a three hour drive. The campsite itself was well maintained and quaint. It reminded me of what campsite was when I was a kid. Our site had power and water hook-ups. We spent the majority of our time in Cooperstown so, outside of the paddle boats, we didn't use any of the advertised amenities. However, it has probably the neatest natural alarm clock(s): a really big turkey and a couple of peacocks. We enjoyed this campground and would return.

This campground is memorable only for being one of the most AWFUL ones we've ever stayed at in over 30 + yrs. of camping!

We paid $50/night for a small grassy site, electric, water hookup we could not drink from, and godawful bathrooms....yep, that sums it up! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

Way, way, overpriced for the dismal amenities.....but yes, it is in a quiet location outside the Baseball epicenter of America.

--RUSTIC outbuilding....yes, ONE bathroom building was cleaned and stocked daily....but how do you go about cleaning wood stalls, and wood floors with 1/2 inch gaps between boards so you can see dirt and trash underneath the building. Cobweb heaven! Appalling!
Did not even attempt the shower (on other side of the bathroom bldg.)

--ONE dumpster most inconveniently located at the end of the field, way out of the way.

--Laundry facility was adequate and reasonably priced.

--Water from spigots was atrocious! Letting it run for a couple minutes still resulted in orange water in a clear milk gallon. NO THANK YOU!

--Sites are mainly seasonal campers. We were in a grassy treeline site across from the bathrooms and the table was rickety and unsafe upon our arrival. It was quickly swapped out for a sturdy one.

That shows the lack of oversight on the owners' part. They happily take your money but do not put one nickel into maintaining this dump!

I honestly don't know what the 4 star+ reviewers were smoking when they wrote their reviews of this place?!

We are here for only 2 nights. I can see how this would be a great place during the warmer summer months. Right now in September with early fall leaves changing it is beautiful. We got the cable because it is cold at night and it is worth it for the extra charge. The internet works well for e-mail and checking the news. Not to be used for streaming.
I think a family would have a great time here.
