Went for a large group birthday party. Tent site along river was very nice. Bathrooms were moldy and in need of repair and overhaul cleaning! Not sure how often they cleaned showers but definitely not daily. Nothing in the area to do locally and a real supermarket is at least 25 minutes away. Couldnt get milk, eggs or even bread... More

This place has issues..first,the good things:very shady, lots of mature trees make you feel like its a state park. Sites were large and level for rv's,very clean bathrooms. Staff was great. Negatives: absolutely no tv. Cable as advertised doesnt exist and you cant get anything on antenna. If you want, you can rent a satellite box $8.00 a day.wires running over the... More

My wife and I have stayed at KOA's all over this nation and have a pretty good idea what to expect. The Deerpark KOA did not meet those expectations. To begin with, as tent campers we were assigned a spot in an open field, which did not contain a picnic table. Actually very few of the spots designated for tent... More

Not at koa standard nothing right .whatever u think your getting for your money your not.the spot are small and tight. They don't even have a real lawnmower to keep the ground clean. Total disorganized seem to be in it just for money.

Checked in Fri July 1 for 3 nights, water went off on Fri night was a busted pipe as we were told. Then Sat morn still no water, no toilets, no showers, they locked the bathrooms as they were so bad no problem with that as we could not use anyway. Kept promising the water was coming on in an... Nice wooded camp ground. Recommend getting a site on the Neversink River. Very relaxing to hear the water going by, especially when sleeping. This was my wife and I, so we did not try to much in the campground. Typical KOA for kids activities. Just really enjoyed the peace, quiet and sound of the river.

Too tight they have not trimmed any trees - big rigs will definitely have problems. Overall not well maintained. The had a group of kids camping and they went on until 3am. The campground refunded our money and I still won't be back. No one ever addressed the problems or apologized - just emailed a credit. At least they knew... More

One of the best campgrounds I have ever been too! Great staff, great location, great everything! I don't understand all the poor ratings, I suppose they are just city folk who expect to be waited on hand a foot. This is camping guys!

Stayed here over memorial day weekend. Having stayed at several campgrounds in my life especially KOA's this one was terrible. The pool is not sufficient enough in size let alone functioning on the holiday weekend. The liner was coming off and pool half filled. To access the river you actually have to leave the campground go across a bridge to... More

This campground used to be and could again be nice however it just keeps getting worse. Site prices are higher than most other campgrounds and they then charge you for extra's which really shouldn't be extra! Premium wristbands are $20 first day then $10 each additional day which give use of the water slides and rock wall. Pool was NOT... More
