4 of us stayed at Cherry Hill Campgrounds for a concert @ Darien Lake last night. The campgrounds is very convenient and clean. The sites were nice and big. I have a major suggestion - If you are staying here for a concert, DO NOT try walking down to the concert. You will be turned away by security guards at...

We were at Darien Lake for a company picnic, we wanted to have a place to stay overnight and did not need the admission costs associated with staying on property at Darien Lake. A friend recommended Cherry Hill. What a wonderful surprise!! This place is super reasonable cost wise. We stayed in a Lean To, which was perfect for our...

Great bath houses, clean and large sites, friendly staff. It is convenient to local mass transit to DC and is serviced by a mass transit bus every hour on the hour starting at 9 am. Would recommend this place to anyone who is a camper.

Ideally located near college park and all the universities, as we had business to do at Robert H. Smith Business School. There is a public metro bus going every 30 min to College Park metro station. On a Sunday it was late by 20 min and on Tue the bus broke down. Takes you around 30 min ride. As for...

The campsites are well maintained and very affordable, however the owners are rude and irrational. The male owner will likely be seen driving around drunk in his truck and yelling at his guests for every minor offense he can imagine. He was extremely irritated that a few friends of mine had not gotten their bracelets yet (because they met us...

We were going to a concert at Darien Lake (see my separate review of what a horrible venue that is) but did not want to spend the extra money to camp at Darien Lake because they add the cost of admission to the park to their camping site rental, regardless of whether you want to go to the park or...

This was our second time back and just like the first time Ms. Gretchen and the rest of the people at Cherry Hill campgroung were awesome. We highly recommond this to anyone looking for decent owners, prices and cleaniness. They are wonderful, helpful and we will be back often, A big thanks to them for making our stay away from...

My friends and I stayed here from August 1st-3rd because of a concert at Darien Lake on the Saturday night. There were 11 of us so we rented two camp sites. The property was beautiful and the camp sites were clean, however there were no garbage cans or recycling bins where our campsites were. Saturday morning we headed to the...

We just got back from our camping trip at Cherry Hill and can only say good things about it! We rented the lean-to cabin which was spacious for a family of 4, the campground was kept clean as well as the washrooms. We were there through the week and the camp ground was nice and quiet which we liked! We...

Stayed here overnight for a concert at Darien Lake. Sites were very large and level and had privacy if you were looking for it. Restrooms were very clean and campground was very tidy with no garbage around. Plenty of garbage cans and recycle cans. Wood was very affordable with a small store that had all basic needs. Staff were very...

“Not worth paying for a lean too cabin, especially if it rains. Tents are warmer, and not as noisy as the lean too, don't get the one with the apple tree at the side !”
