We found a roach in the bedsheets. When telling the front desk the next morning, she called I believe maintenance right away - but NO apologo, no discount on room or comp room...I guess from her reaction we may not be the only ones... No buffet (although advertized) in morning....
The hotel is located sort of hideaway spot. Very easy parking and secure. Staff is very friendly. Lobby is beautiful. Easy to get to room and close to elevator. Bathroom is very modern as well as the room. Very large tv.
I really liked this stay because 1. Everything from the lobby to the room was very clean, comfortable and updated. 2. Parking was easy and free 3. Loved the shops and restaurants around the hotel 4. Check in and check out were seamless. I think it’s possible now that through the Hilton Honors app you can check in and check out of hotels without ever having to visit the front desk.
I booked this hotel shortly before midnight directly on Hilton's website. The reservation was confirmed. I arrived at the hotel around 2 AM. As I walked in, the front desk clerk glared at me and didn't say a word for several seconds after I greeted him, then said something snarky about how late it was. He proceeded to tell me that the hotel had been sold out since about 8 PM (several hours before I made the valid reservation) and that there were no rooms available. Throughout the exchange he was unprofessional and unapologetic. It took me an hour to find another hotel and it cost significantly more. I wrote in to Hilton asking for compensation for the extra expense. Six weeks later, I have not heard a word from the hotel management. Hilton's corporate customer service has said they've passed along my information to the hotel three times and asked them to contact me, but they haven't. Avoid this unprofessional operation.…
Not worth staying at after paying over 200.00 a night. We checked in very late, the bathroom was not clean, no amenities. the shade was broken, not much hot or cold water in the sink or the shower. As we were tired, we just went to bed. Around 2am, there was a party in the room next door, with music so loud that it was shaking our room !. Around 3.00am, we called the front desk and complained, it was finally stopped around 4.30am. Did not sleep at all, had a function to go to next morning. Complained at front desk, not very helpful and no apologies, just switched us to another floor. Bring your own water as they charged us $6.00 a bottle !. No apologies from Front Desk, wrote 3 emails to Yanique Reid, Guest Service Manager, NO response at all. Stay someplace else and save your money. …
We enjoyed our stay at this property very much! It was a perfect location for the excursions we had planned. The complimentary hotel shuttle was a great benefit to have. With free parking, great location, shuttle service, clean and updated room, good service and helpful staff......what's not to like. We will likely return to this property when traveling to this part of the world. Thanks to everyone!
Positives: - Checked in at Hilton Garden Inn was OK. The front desk staff, Ally, was polite. - Easy parking. There are some uncovered parking spots while most parking spots are inside a covered parking garage with multiple levels. - Restaurants nearby within walking distance - Clean lobby Negatives: - Some hairs on the countertop and food grease/stains on the countertop. - Hilton's asking me for my contact info almost every time I stay with Hilton (that also applies to Marriott and IHG and Best Western, etc.) has been a frustrating experience because not only it's a redundant process since I am a member and they could pull up my profile with my number, which I clearly stated that I am happy to provide, but they still wanted my info again and again. This is ineffective, inefficient, and creates negative customer experience. - When raising the cleanliness issue to Ally, she said she would come over to look at it herself. But it was another person showing up, and his attitude was average, not positive. - Ally was polite but would be better to be consistent in her actions and words. She said she would come look at the room herself but instead another person showed up. - The person Ally sent to solve the problem did not really solve the problem, nor was able to clearly explain to me his role. He called himself houseman, I thought it's housekeeping, but he said he's not housekeeping nor maintenance. In my view, this staff is housekeeping, but he wasn't able to clean and fix dirty areas that I brought to the hotel's attention. Rude attitude too. When a room is unclean or not cleaned effectively, it's hard to receive a high rating, so this one is no exception. Paid almost $300 per night for this hotel stay and did not get a clean room, very disappointed. Paid a luxury hotel price to get a 1-star room in cleanliness.…
Though this Hilton Garden Inn looks very sleek and contemporary, it is one of the worst-run hotels I've stayed in for a long while. Some of the staff were friendly, but for the most part the front desk and restaurant staff were not particularly warm, effective, or helpful. I didn't hear a single "thank you" or "I'm sorry" the entire time. The hotel is not well maintained. The restaurant is a DISASTER in the morning. Though the restaurant was far from full, we were unable to get seated or receive plates or silverware for the buffet. After 15 minutes of waiting, we bailed and went to Starbucks. Reading through some of the previous negative reviews, I cannot believe that hotel management or the Hilton chain has not addressed these very obvious problems. Operations at this hotel need a complete overhaul.…
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will stay again. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Parking was free and they have microwave and fridge in the rooms, coffee maker in the rooms was an added bonus. Love our stay!
Arrived early, around 11am, and was able to check in. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Hotel and room was clean and spacious. Great covered parking. Good location with a Starbuck on the corner. Housekeeper was so nice and friendly.
