Very beautiful and secluded b&b. It is Very close to many wineries, and the Glenora winery restaurant (5 mins from the b&b) was phenomenal with a beautiful patio overlooking the lake. We would definitely like to return to this place!!!!!!!
We stayed at Sunrise Landing for a weekend in late May. We were greeted by Barb, one of the owners/innkeepers, as we entered the B&B. She showed us around, including where the cookies and brownies will be served :) Then she took us out to...More

We were a little concerned that the Inn was off the beaten path. But, when we arrived it was absolutely perfect. Directly on the lake in the middle of the finger lakes. We stayed with another couple and both of the accommodations were perfect. They...More

The Sunflower bedding is in very good condition and reported by guests to be very comfortable. We use high quality, silky soft Comphy Sheets. The sofa and chairs are in good condition and the sofa is a pull-out sofa bed with a deluxe mattress which is firmer than most sofa bed mattresses so that sleepers are comfortable and don't feel the bar - which is typically the complaint about most sofa beds. The wicker swing is still there and in good condition. The cushion is fine in comfort but is a bit faded - and a new one is ordered. Yes, there are stairs down to the lake. They are not straight down - there are two landings with benches at each point. We have 200 feet of rocky waterfront and we provide water shoes for guests should they want to go into the water. We have a paddle boat and two kayaks for guests to use and Adirondack chairs to sit on, out on the large dock. There is a winding road down to our property - used by just a few other residents but primarily by our guests. It its a great walk up through the woods and the steeper parts provide a great workout. Watkins Glen (just over 9 miles away) is a great walking town with several shops, many restaurants, and a beautiful waterfront and park. Watkins Glen also boasts one of the most popular state parks with its breathtaking gorge and waterfalls. There are other trails in the park as well. The Catherine Valley Trail - also beginning in Watkins Glen is another great walking trail and not too far from us in the other direction - is the Keuka Outlet Trail. I appreciate your interest and I hope this answers all of your questions. If not, please get back to me again.
