Compact room. Not disturbed by airport noise. The wi-fi was free and strong. Breakfast was decent and included in my room charge. But the price tag of UKP 16.95 can be considered over the top. There should be clearer signs from the airport. Hotel should consider adding a shuttle pickup from the Inverness Airport staion of Scotrail.

Excellent stay in a chilled out hotel away from the hustle and bustle and with all you need for a short stay. Only negative was the design of the bathroom door - could be more private. Welcoming staff to us and to our dog. Great choice of breakfast and great value when included in the rate

On entering the hotel I was noticed how clean and fresh everything looked, and after checking in, which only took a couple minutes, I then went to my room. Again, the room was clean and fresh and the bed and pillows were exactly to my liking. After a shower I then went for dinner where I was quickly seated. Because it was late in the day I didn’t want to eat three courses so opted for the fish and chips. I waited only about 10-12 minutes for the food to arrive and I must say, it which was excellent. Later, before bed I tried closing the curtains, which took a few tries. I think the full height of them were probably too heavy, it made it difficult to shut them, I passed this on to reception when I checked out. Breakfast was self service with a choice of several cereals or cooked if you preferred. Having the cooked breakfast, the bacon was underdone, I prefer crispy, but it was still edible. I highly recommend the Courtyard and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. PS The staff are very friendly too.

I have stayed here multiple times and it is always very good. The hotel is right next to Inverness airport so easy to get to from a late flight. Check in was quick and friendly. The room is comfy, modern and of a good size. There is also very little noise from the airport. It is a very standard Courtyard room - they are all very similar so the bathroom is fine. I also got a kit kat and a bottle of water for being a Marriott Gold member. I checked out early and didn't eat here this time. Another great stay - however the prices are climbing for what this provides so I may look elsewhere next time as I don't think it is value for money at the moment.

There are some pros and cons associated with this hotel, but mostly cons. The best part about this hotel is the fact that one can walk to the hotel from the Inverness airport in 5 minutes or less. The room that we stayed in was modern, the AC was strong, and the bed was comfortable. It was very easy for us to be picked up by Sixt rental car company the next morning once we called them and asked for a pick-up. The breakfast offerings were nice, and the eating area is quite airy and welcoming. The cons, however, may outweigh any reason to stay here: 1) Our teen slept on a sofa bed that was hard as a rock. I can’t recommend this sleeping option to anyone. 2) The sliding glass door between the bathroom and the room provides no privacy because there is a gap between the door and the wall and if turned on at night, the light wakes others who may be sleeping. 3) I found the previous comments from other travelers about the reserved demeanor of the front desk staff to be accurate; both the evening and morning staff answered my questions about dinner options and contacting Sixt in a disinterested manner, to the point where they seem to be trying to win a prize for using the least words possible in talking with me. I wouldn’t say they were rude, but their lack of engagement made me feel like I was bothering them by asking. 4) The continental breakfast cost £14 per person. 5) the carpeting in the room had stains and hairs from a previous guest. Finally, we received a traffic ticket from Sixt via email that was issued by the Courtyard when we parked our rental car out on front of the hotel for the 15-20 minutes it took to run up to the room, use the restroom, pick-up our daughter and retrieve our bags. The front desk agent checked me out, saw me come inside to get my bags and she said goodbye when we left. She could see the rental car parked right outside via the window from the front desk. She never asked me about the car and there was no ticket placed in the car. If they had placed a ticket on the car, I could simply have walked back inside and cleared up the confusion. To date, I have spent over one month trying to reconcile this issue with Marriott and there has been total silence from the Courtyard. I guess they expect me to simply pay the £100 for no reason and move on. We come to Inverness annually and as a Titanium Member with Marriott, I had hoped this hotel would be a new option for my family, but given the above, I will now avoid this hotel. In fact, for the same cost, my family stay at a lovely B&B in Nairn (some 10-15 minutes away) where the staff were super kind, the room was much larger, more comfortable and the abundant breakfast was free. If you have a car and can travel to Nairn instead of staying here, I suggest you do so.

Does what it needs to do: Excellent location for the airport. Modern and clean rooms. They have everything needed for one night before flying. Literally takes 5 min to walk into the terminal from the front desk. Staff friendly and good wake up call! Door knock rather than phone call.

Due to wild weather, had an unexpected stopover at Loganair expense, lovely very modern Hotel, long wait for food but was worth it, good size potions and cooked to perfection, beer not cheap but where is it 🤪 large windows in the rooms so cracking view, wind howling outside and not a sound in the room, look forward to coming back 👍

Dear Alexander, Many thanks for taking the time to post a review here following your unexpected stopover with us at the Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. It was lovely to read that you found the food to be cooked to perfection with good sized portions, as you will understand on the night you stayed we had a large number of last minute bookings due to cancelled flights but I am sure the team looked after you all on that busy evening. Its great to hear that the triple glazed, floor to ceiling windows did their job in keeping out the noise but letting you have a lovely view of the area. We hope you might visit us again soon - perhaps this time planned! Kind regards Dorothy Green Director of Sales

Exceptionally comfortable and quiet. This was just what was required after walking for 3.5 miles around Gatwick Airport as the lounges were full and all of the seating was taken up by those suffering from flight delays.

We stayed here for one night before an early morning flight, and it was perfect for this as we could walk right to the airport in the morning in about 2 minutes. The room itself was quite spacious and clean. There was plenty of parking available. We also ate dinner there, which was quite good. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful.
