Stayed for one night in a double with an en-suite. The farmhouse is located roughly 8 km from Inverness, the B&B is located on A96 road. It wasn't difficult to find as google maps got me there and there's a blue plaque just outside the entrance to the driveway. inside the house is quaintly decorated, with plush carpets which felt really nice. The house is very clean (I think it's the owner's house), very well maintained throughout. The room I got was called "Willow". It had a dressing table, a chest of drawers, chairs, double bed and tea/coffee making amenities. The bed was pretty comfortable. The mattress was firm, which is actually the way I like it and blankets fluffy down I think. The blankets were a little too hot for me, but that often the case for me being a Scot. The bathroom was okay sized, surprisingly small as the room was surprisingly big. There's a special switch/tap for hot water, but it worked fine for showering and on the tap. Soap, shampoo, hand wash and hand cream were all provided. The bathroom even has an electronic deodoriser, very clever. The breakfast was great too with egg, cheese, assorted fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, toast. The last was freshly made by the owner and honestly, she really couldn't have done enough to make breakfast perfect.

A very small home with several bedrooms upstairs. Very simple, few amenities, unreliable Wi-Fi, but very cheap for the region (£45 a night single with a shared bathroom). Very quiet location with beautiful views. Clean & proper, but with various automatic room deodorizer sprays throughout the house that might be off-putting to some. The lady who operates it is polite and kind, but quite shy, and therefore may not come across as friendly at first meeting, but she is quite gracious. Good enough for a night stop.
