Great visit again. This is our third stay at this hotel, and easy time we have slept well. The room is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The beds are fine and the bathroom is well appointed. The included breakfast is as expected, nothing exceptional or delicious, but they tried to make it pleasant. The front desk definitely stands out as helpful and polite. We had minor issues which both the morning and night clerks went out of their way to resolve. And they both are friendly. When we visit in this area this remains our go to hotel. I recommend asking for a west facing room on a high floor to enjoy an incredible view.

This hotel is located just a few minutes outside downtown which make it convenient at a great price. The gentleman at the front desk was awesome.
The room was just what you’d expect from a Fairfield - standard design but clean, comfortable, and did the job.
Great option if you are visiting Albany for work or pleasure.

We engaged with Shannon Hill and Fairfield Inn when planning for our out-of-town wedding guests. We inquired about blocking off rooms and compared prices around the Albany area. They had a very competitive rates, and made it really easy to get accommodation information to our friends and family. Additionally, as we got closer to the wedding date certain plans changed, they were flexible and accommodating. I recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites for wedding guest accommodations, and in general.

I stayed on September 30th, and paid for my hotel the week prior where they charged me two extra transactions of $187 still waiting for it. Get the ring around from marriot and the hotel said it was refunded. Still waiting. Terrible customer service from marriot corp itself and the green bush hotel.

Avoid this hotel! The manager doesn't care about the guests. My room was 90 degrees when I checked in and it never cooled sufficiently. I complained that night and the next morning, and the clerk was rude and the manager never reached out. A few days later I discovered bed bug bites. I called and reported it and the manager Rachel never called me back. I called again and after beeing put on hold was told she was in a meeting, and again she never called me back. After calling corporate, and they contacted the hotel, Rachel finally took my call. She was extremely rude and told me the hotel did not have bed bugs. Her defensiveness tells me it is an ongoing problem. When I asked her why the HVAC was off and the room tempature was unbearable, I also received no appology or offer of a credit.

A huge undertaking, this was! I needed to book about 40 rooms to accommodate our of town employees for a company-wide event, the length of stay varying from 1 day to 5 days. Bruce V. was patient, accommodating and readily available for questions, special requests and the seemingly endless amount of changes that needed to be made. After my guests started to arrive, Bruce was attentive and requested that I contact him directly for any issues. The few very minor issues that we did encounter were attended to and resolved instantaneously and I received excellent feedback from all of my guests. Truly exceptional service and we look forward to working together again when the need arises

Stayed for two nights while travelling for work. Toilet float broken, so water was flowing continuously. Told front desk but was not fixed . Irony is that there was a save the planet by reusing the towels sign above the toilet. No towels left for night two. No soap in shower dispenser. Plugs below lamp near bed all loose. Can not charge phones unless you spread legs on power cord. Two nights in a row, received 2 separate calls from front desk at around 10:30 pm and 11pm . Nothing on the other end. Was chatting with other customers and they had the same issues with phone calls. This is a slow time of the year for tourism, time to fix the bugs.

All was quite good except mold on shower ceiling. This is a deal breaker for me. Mold causes illness, room should not have been utilized in that condition 😖

This is definitely an older Marriott Fairfield property that does try to look newer but, fails in some areas. As soon as you drive up, the parking lot shows its age.
First off, this is our second Marriott property in two days. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door (not so the previous Springfield). Two thumbs up to the desk attendant. Fresh hot coffee was made available. The lobby was clean and nicely furnished.
Our room.....this is by far the worst layout of any room at a Marriott we have ever stayed in. A long narrow hall to the bed & desk. No place to open our suitcases. There is a TV, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, drawers, desk & chair along the wall which is a plus. No sense loading the dresser doors with our clothes for one night.
Small bathroom with the door a few inches from the toilet.
Hopefully, not every room has this lousy layout.

This hotel is easy to find, quiet, clean and comfortable. There is a Denny’s and a Cracker Barrel within a 5 minute walk. The fitness room and pool were spotless. Breakfast was the usual high quality nice variety, including 2 selections of eggs, 2 meats, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. This was the BEST HOTEL STAFF I have ever experienced. Toiletries were the on-the-wall refillable variety.

Thank you for your question. There is a king suite, but it's not detached from the living area. Please check out the pictures on their website. There's a great pic that shows the suite and where both the bed and living areas are located. Hope that helps!
