My experience was fantastic. Front desk was very helpful and welcoming. They answered any questions and addressed any concerns that I had during my stay. The housekeeping did a fantasitic job on cleaning the room when asked.
Great service, great staff and great prices. Our experience at this locations is always pleasant. Management is super understanding and always accommodate our needs. Will keep using their services for future stays!!
Check in Friday Oct 21 after 4 p m, defective keycard so front desk personnel checked and supplied replacement. After 6 pm event I realized neither TV nor phone worked. Walked to office. Manager came. Satellite system not working. No other room available. Workman came about 9:30 a m. Saturday. TV worked until I left for an 11 a m function. Returned late evening. No TV. Different workman tried. Checkout scheduled for 5:15 a m Sunday. Pointless moving to another room. Front desk personnel led by general manager Ms Rihannon Force, tried hard to help. She is a very good Wyndham staffer and deserves to be in a better location. Overall, room was clean but VERY plain and unattractive as was the breakfast area. Expedia did offer a $50 refund.
Great location, decent value and clean what more can you ask for when you’re staying away from home? Great staff to help you out when you need it! Irene at the front desk made the visit the best! She was super helpful and accommodating. Would stay there again, but only because of Irene. Baymont is lucky to have her!
A great find ! Very close to NYC / Manhattan. 30 mins directly north of Mid-town Easy on / off from Saw Mill Parkway, Straight shot to NYC / Mid-town ! Very clean small but well appointed rooms, comfy beds & linens, good tv & cable. & good air con ! Property well lite & secure. The staff I met very friendly. helpful & professional. Breakfast, limited, ok / good. Although the coffee not good, needs much work ! Breakfast room was very clean & there is someone there keeping it clean ! I will be back, hopefully the coffee issue will be corrected !
The receptionist ignored my greeting and then said there were no rooms available. When I told her I saw availability online, she said “we only have smoking rooms”. I told her that’s what I wanted and she just stared at me then cocked her head and condescendingly said “are YOU okay” like I was a crackhead or something. She said that I was staring at her weird when I was just waiting for her to book me the room I was inquiring about. She then said “I can’t do this” and stormed out of the office looking like she was going to cry and her coworker took over. The other receptionist apologized and said “sorry, a lot happened in the last three minutes.” Frankly, I don’t care what happened in the last three minutes. I had been driving for the last 5 hours and although I don’t expect exceptional service from a Days Inn, I do expect the bare minimum of respect. Absolutely absurd.…
highly recommend this hotel. very clean rooms. simple free breakfast. very accommodating staff. clean reception areas. microwave and fridge in the room. regular cleaning. close access to everything and white plains and highways. no children play area or lawn area.
Not a bad hotel but not overly great either. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, though. That could be because of an incident when we first arrived at "our room". It turned out that it was occupied by another guest, and we surprised her by opening the door! Front desk lady apologized to both of us. We got a discount, and I think she got a free night. We thought it was funny, but I doubt the other guest did... Anyway, the rooms are okay - double beds, not much to praise but really not much wrong either. If you need a room fairly close to NYC, this is probably a good bet if you don't need anything fancy.
The front desk staff and the woman who made and put out the 'breakfast' were very nice. The hotel is in serious need of a face lift- it appears old, dated, worn out and tired. Not at all what I was expecting from this brand - such a disappointment. My room was clean but in need of some significant updating - the door was warped, needed to be painted, rusty, weather stripping was mangled, the widow in the bathroom was inoperable -don't know about those in the room itself since I didn't try to open them - the lamps were old - everything reeked 'I need a Facelift!' including the exterior of the motel itself. If this is the Wyndham brand, your company is in trouble. The remote control didn't look as if it had been cleaned- no sanitizer bag around it and no indication inthe room if it had been cleaned etc per COVID protocols…
We attended the Westminster Dog Show and stayed at this hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, with direct access to our vehicles. These rooms have the faux wood tiles floors, instead of carpeting, so they are easy to maintain and clean. We had issues with the TV reception. The hotel has DirectTV and apparently the weather (it was lightly raining) can affect it. We didn't have TV for a few hours the first night, when we wanted to watch the dog show while relaxing. Instead, we had to stream it on our laptop. Breakfast was limited, but we all found something to start our day right. Parking lot was quiet and suitably lit. Exactly what I expect of a Days Inn - nothing fancy, but decent, efficient, and economical. As an added plus, it is dog friendly, tho I do recommend a trash barrel closer to the dog walk area, since there were several baggies left nearby which would have been binned if the owners had an obvious barrel available. Trash recepticles are spaced along the front of the hotel, but we didn't notice them until the next morning. Luckily, we didn't need one until then.…
