I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfast's over the years and around our country. My favoprite is certainly THE MADISON. This is a beautiful house in the Fire Island Pines. The atmosphere is both casual and elegant. The accomadations are lovely. The rooms are berautiful with ample closet space and the beds have comfortable mattresses. It is an atmospherte...

My stay here post- season was highlighted by two ample and delicious breakfasts thoughtfully prepared by largo al factotum Luke, who also welcomed me gracefully and took care of my and my friends' needs seamlessly. The location is ideal, just off the harbor, the rooms clean and individualized. I can recommend The Madoson Guesthouse as a great experience.

I have just returned from a one-night stay at The Madison and am already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay next year. Our earlier reservation was spoiled by Hurricane Irene, so I am appreciative that the management allowed us to rebook with no hassles. Staying on a post-season weekend, I think we got an opportunity to appreciate...

Not only is Fire Island Pines the most wonderful place to holiday, but The Madison is a stunning B&B at which to base yourself. We took the smallest and cheapest room, which was still spacious enough with a great bathroom and a door straight on to the pool area. It’s a minute from the ferry terminal, and a minute in...

Staying at the Madison is like being invited to a friend's gorgeous Pines share without having to deal with all the housemate drama. It's expensive, of course, but Fire Island is no place to vacation on a budget. Staffers Luke and Judson are wonderfully friendly and accommodating, if seemingly overworked. (Luke was making breakfast before we woke every morning and...

we had such a relaxing time. Luke the manager is amazing so nice and always making sure you are pampered. the house is very nice (living room esp.) as well as the pool area and the garden. just two things are missing for the price: a daily cleaning and a better maintenance through the property (jaccuzi, paints, etc). Will definitely...

My partner and I are airline employees (he still flies; I'm retired), so when we travel for pleasure, we look for accomodations that don't remind us of our layovers. We chose The Madison because of its ideal location and its hip, sophisticated vibe. We stayed in one of the comfortable ground floor rooms, which turned out to be surprisingly quiet...

We stayed here late last summer for a one night escape from the city. Their website looked great, and we thought perhaps Fire Island had finally come up with a boutique hotel that made the Pines, that are quite beautiful, much easier to visit. When we tried to checked in there was nobody there to greet us. We waited a...

The Madison is a lovely guest house in the Pines, a short walk from the ferry dock, and a short walk from the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic. The manager and his assistant work extremely hard to provide their guests with a friendly and comfortable home away from home. They succeed. The daily breakfast is excellent--and much more than one...

We had a delightful experience at The Madison. It's a great place to stay. Conveniently located between the harbor and the beach and only steps from all the bars in The Pines. Our room was quiet and nice. Great bed....the entire place was comfortable and well kept. We appreciated all the details and amenities. The pool area was a wonderful...
