Easy to find off interstate. Check in was easy, room was clean and quiet. The 2-Go breakfast was well stocked. Cereal, bagels you can toast, juices, water coffee, fruit. I would for sure stay here again. It is in a building comples so I think you could park a big rig somewhere, call to check anyway.
We stayed here three nights over thanksgiving to visit family and friends. Hotel is confidently located off I-84 and route 9. The rooms are a little outdated. TV is small. Our rooms were clean and the Wi-Fi worked well. The gym was tiny and did not have a lot of equipment. The hotel does provide access to a local gym if you want. I took advantage of this and it worked well. The hotel is providing a cold breakfast in the morning. Overall a good value and location. Next time we close to visit we would stay here again.
I checked in today (Saturday, November 20) for a 4 day stay. I give them the one star because the staff are very nice and obviously care about the customers. That said, consider this: Basically all the amenities advertised exist only on the website. There is no evidence of them at the Courtyard Marriott Fishkill. Bistro CLOSED Swimming pool CLOSED Hot tub CLOSED Maid service NOT AGAIN UNTIL TUESDAY (3 days from today) Not clear how the maids will get a lot done because the WATER WILL BE TURNED OFF FOR THE ENTIRE DAY TUESDAY Throwing in the towel. Headed to the room for a bath. THE STOPPER DOESN’T WORK. Taking a bath is impossible. This is a complete drag.
I have to say that I was very impressed with the newly renovated Marriott Courtyard in Fishkill, NY. I had wanted to stay at the Courtyard in Poughkeepsie but it had been full and this one was open. I was glad that we found this one. They overnight stay was wonderful. The staff could not have been nicer both at check in and check out. They were so friendly and welcoming and gave me a nice room on the 4th Floor with a view of the Catskill Mountain's with the changing foliage. I also got to see a beautiful sunrise in the morning with amazing colors. The hotel is on the border with Route 84 and the backyard is the off and on ramp for Route 9 to Route 84 but the hotel was sound proof and I did not hear a thing. Still you can't beat this location if you need to travel back to the City. What kept the review from being five stars is that the room even though it was renovations it was very sterile corporate. It was clean and well stocked with towels and supplies but had that plain non creative look to it like cookie cutter. Still the room was super clean and the bed was so soft and firm that I laid down after a long day of touring and dozed off for about an hour. I slept for almost eight hours after that. I slept so soundly and I woke up refreshed. I felt great. Because of COVID, their Bistro was closed and they had a light complimentary breakfast which had muffins, bagels, cereals, yogurt, hot cereal, juices and milk, fruit and bottled waters. It was well stocked and you could have as much as you wanted. Usually Courtyards don't have the complimentary breakfasts as their counterparts but they made an exception. This used to be the case years ago but they got rid of it. I hope they keep this permanent because myself and the other guests really enjoyed it. The check out was flawless and I got right back on the road and got to my next destination with no problem. This is really a great location. I highly recommend this hotel for both the business and leisure travelers. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay.…
Clean, updated, friendly property. We liked it, I'd stay again. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Decent breakfast. Close to dining choices. Maybe i would choose a different room layout but we did get the room type we reserved. A good Marriott choice.
