This HIE's proximity to the West Point campus is its key factor. It's an older property that seriously needs an update to be the number one hotel in a 10-15 mile radius. They do need to have more than one front desk rep during the evening (1630-1900) check-in crush to preclude guests having to stand in line for 30 minutes just to get a room. The rooms are decent sized, bathroom clean, and bed comfortable enough with four good pillows. Breakfast is not too bad but I do wish they would offer any type of potato dish to compliment the eggs and meat choices. Coffee is always hot & strong so points for that.

We stayed at this hotel for a trip to West Point. Very good location, very close to the Academy. Attractive lobby with friendly personnel. The room was clean spacious and nicely decorated. It had a microwave and a fridge. The breakfast was very good-tasty with numerous choices. My only comment was the mattresses were a bit soft for my taste and the breakfast hours should be extended. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This Holiday Inn Express was over rated but especially over priced. Badly in need of an update. Our shower must have had some kind of whole in it and was patched with a big squishy patch right where you stand. Toilet was the nosyest we've ever heard. We could hear everyone's around our room, thankfully we we on the top floor so didn't have anyone above us. Internet was fair. We were there for 2 breakfast and there was not creativity both breakfast were exactly the same. The price was jacked up super high because it was A day at West Point the room was worth 1/3 of what we paid. We will not be back.

We stayed here during West Point graduation week. The staff was wonderful and friendly! On Thursday and Friday they even had cheese, fruit and beverages for guests. The rooms are super clean, and beds incredibly comfortable. It is nice and close to campus and there are places to eat within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here!

Wedding blocks... Gabriel went against our contract and sold out the entire hotel before our wedding block was up. When we spoke to him about this he said "what do you want me to build more rooms"....

We stayed one night, a weekday, at this property. Check-in was a breeze, the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast, although basic, was good. Checking out involved dropping the card keys in a basket, simple. A very nice stay. This property is recommended.

We spent one night here, on a weekend, in mid August. It was busy, but service was friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking right in front. Desk person suggested a local pizza place nearby, which was very good. Breakfast was basic, but decent. Great location for exploring the HRV. Rates are a bit high but not unexpected.

We had to stay overnight due to car problems. The hotel was clean, breakfast good and the staff very nice. A special shout out to Maria at the Front Desk who went out of her way to help us out. Looking around the area, I think this is probably the best place to stay in town when visitng West Point

I’ve stayed here twice. It’s definitely over priced but their aren’t many options in the area. I agree with the other reviews. The WiFi barely works. The water in the shower was uncomfortably HOT even on the lowest setting. The room was humid and smelled damp. On the plus side, my room was large. The staff was friendly. It’s nice to have a free breakfast especially since food options in the immediate area are limited. (We did walk across the parking lot to the BBQ joint for dinner one evening and it was great). There’s a frig and microwave which are also nice to have. Overall it’s an average budget hotel that costs more than a budget hotel should cost.
