last minute trip for funeral and didn’t want to spend $300+ just to sleep 1 night. i figured how bad could it be! since the deadlock didn’t work we had to put a chair against the door! room had a weird smell, furniture was broken. light fixtures were rusty, the shower was disgusting with layers of caulking and rusty shower head. no vanity. no hooks to hang towel etc. shower door handle about to fall off, toilet seat ready to fall off. the only mirror in the bathroom is tinted black with weird lights. i’m sure i looked like a clown after doing my makeup. walls have been poorly patched. pictures attached. front desk guy (behind bullet proof glass) was nice. sheets appeared clean.

The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean and recently renovated. The price was also good considering the area. The issues I had were twofold. First the hotel was in a less than ideal area - it wasn't unsafe, but there really wasn't anything around without driving somewhere. Secondly, the hotel was next to a Mexican restaurant, which I thought would be fun, except that they had a band which was playing about 25 feet from my room. Not that the band was bad, but the music in the room was pretty loud and made it hard to go to sleep.

Single worst room I’ve ever stayed in in my entire life. The website, boasted a refrigerator/microwave And a trim and we had one of each except neither of them worked. The bathroom was so gross that we felt the need to brush our teeth with bottled water. And the hotel has not been responding to the BBB even though I have made m multiple requests.

Stayed here because we were going to Jones Beach for a concert. What a dump !! Arrived at 10pm after flight from UK to be shown a filthy room - dirty sheets, floor etc broken furniture, bugs everywhere and music blaring out of the Mexican restaurant. Insisted they give us another room would have gone somewhere else but unable to find a room at that time of night and had no car. Next room was cleaner - still not what you expect for over £103 a night but door lock was broken could just push the door open when it was suppose to be locked - so we had to sleep with a large chest of drawers barged up to the door !!! Definitely would not recommend staying her

This hotel is disgusting and dirty. Stayed for one night in the Marina view room. Our sheets had hair in it, probably from the last guests that stayed there. I made them come to the room and change all the bedding. The housekeeping staff left for the day and the front desk guy offered to do it. He was actually so very sweet. Bed was so uncomfortable, sunken in the middle! We kept rolling into eachother during the night. Floors etc were dirty and I mean DIRTY! My husband stepped on the damp shower mat from the shower earlier and it was black from his feet, sooooo gross!

Our “deluxe” room was anything but! Dirt, sludge, unidentifiable stains, dead bugs, hair that wasn’t mine and broken sink & lamp! This was supposed to be a romantic getaway but with the horrible conditions it was anything but that. We didn’t want to touch anything due to the level of gross! Management was rude and everyone online said they refused to give them back their money so we opted to stay.

we spent two nights there, not one good nights rest and no breakfast as advertised. Some outlets in the room didn't work, no closet, no safe, no microwave, no toilet paper holder, the light in the bathroom mirror was so dark it was unusable and the first night we had to deal with loud music on both sides of us all night! After complaining to management they wanted to give us a room in the same area, when we refused they reluctantly gave us another room upstairs. The second night didn't get much better. First, the stairs leading up were so unstable we thought they were going to collapse and just like the other room, outlets didn't work, no paper holder etc., plus the faucet had no handle. On top of that management tried to enter our room at 1am. broke our sleep and scared the daylights out of us...we never got back to sleep. Worst place we ever stayed. THIS PLACE IS BEYOND HORRIBLE, ITS DANDEROUS

I spend two nights here. Here are the pluses of the place 1. Less than a mile from the LIRR(Long Island Railroad) 2. Less than a mile from the Whale Watching boat so this was very convenient for me. 3. The bed was clean and very comfortable, i love a seashell type for the faucet. The negative 1. Aesthetically not please to the eyes, not work the money they charged me for two nights. 2. They claim because of cov19 no breakfast which to me is a big cop out. 3. I told them about the leakage coming from the faucet since the pipe below became open no one did anything. 4.The light went out while my son was bathing and all they said was the neighborhood lights might have gone out which was not the case. 5. Most important the lock on the door was not locking properly everytime i came out the room, I was so concerned about my safety i push something behind the door. 6. As i was checking out said good morning to staff totally ignored my pleasantries while later i witness him arguing on the phone with some clearly not being careful if the guest can here. Overall it did the job got me a bed to sleep while in the area for my whale watching.

I booked this place after reading previous reviews extolling what a "wonderful gem of a place". Puh-leez. This place is a dump. The rooms are so small that two people can't walk past each other; the bathroom with it's "wonderful" rainshower (granted, that was the 'highlight') is so small that they couldn't fit a sink in there, so it's mounted on a vanity just outside a door so narrow and a doorknob so low that you'd need to be a Keebler elf to comfortably use it. Back to the vanity/sink: the faucet sits on top of the sink, loose as if it was just set there without being secured. Oh, and the floor has it's own unique stickiness that one needs to use their imagination to wonder how that happened. Breakfast? Hah. Talk about people and businesses using Covid as an excuse for poor service, etc. No, there is no "breakfast", which in retrospect was probably a blessing. If this place is "recently renovated", then I would be suing the contractors. Yeesh. You'd be better off sleeping in your car and saving the money. Otherwise, a real experience that everyone should go through once in their life. I used this as a stop-over after picking up my girlfriend at JFK, thinking it would be a nice romantic reunion. What a freaking embarrassment.

I had never been to the Freeport area and I chose this Inn because it was a little higher rated (3.5 stars) than another choice in nearby Long Beach (3 stars). I figured the rooms would look out over the marina but all we could see was the parking lot and entrance to the adjacent restaurant. At check in they required a copy of my license ( which I was not crazy about ) ... and the room was prepaid for the two nights. The room had a strange smell which could have been a mixture of smoke and cleaner. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot, but the room was definitely rough around the edges. It also had a number of these gnat like bugs, mostly in the bathroom. The security bolt would not work and the chain was only half secured. Their TV system shows you who is calling the hotel (name and number) , as if this was just a simple personal residence cable service. I’m sure the folks calling this hotel would be less than pleased that their names and numbers are broadcast to any of the hotels residents. The parking lot fills up quite a bit in the evening due to the restaurant. We had to wait for a spot to free up. On the plus side, the staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly. We didn’t spend much time in the room over the 3 days so it got the job done, but I would not likely stay here again.
