Our Belhurst Castle experience was wonderful! It is an authentic 19th century castle with an amazing view of Seneca Lake. It’s a one-stop destination—you don’t even have to leave the property during your getaway but there is also much to do in town and plenty of wineries and

This is as close as the rest of us will get to our own Downton Abbey experience. The estate is beautiful, and the views are spectacular. Your room makes you feel like a guest in a stately country home. Downstairs are the spectacular Edgar Steakhouse and Stonecutters Tavern. Be

Room was awesome and great and we could walk to our delicious dinner at Edgars. However, we might have had an opposite review had the Castle been full and they couldn't move us from "down the road 2+ miles" to be staying actually IN the castle. Be aware when booking on third

We decided to take an extra day after dropping our son off at college, and booked a room at Belhurst Castle because it looked historical and interesting. It was both. We stayed at the Vinifera Inn, which is a new wing that has been added to the older building, it is connected by

The castle is beautiful. The staff is great. The Sangria in the pub is amazing and so is the food. They have a small bar off to the side that serves crudites with your drinks and the bartender is super friendly. This is a great spot to stay if you are doing the Wine tour. The

Hi Janet, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent stay at Belhurst. We do apologize that your accommodations were incorrect. That is completely our mistake and we're very sorry it happened. We did offer to find you accommodations at another area hotel and we did give you a different room at our sister property, White Springs Manor free of charge, but know this was a different room than you originally requested. We had planned to offer you a complimentary bottle of champagne at your dinner reservation in Edgar's Steakhouse for your anniversary, but found out you had cancelled your reservation, which we do understand why after what had happened. Thank you again for your feedback, which is greatly appreciated. Regards, Carly Morabito, Marketing Manager, Belhurst Castle

Yes there are. But because the castle is historic they can't alter the structure so the AC is a window unit.

It is unfortunate that Quinn is still there and has not changed his demeanor. When I spoke with the General Manager she advised that she would be speaking with Quinn; however, it is apparent that he hasn't gotten any better. I feel sorry for the owners whom I have been told are wonderful and caring people. To the owners and general manager: It's obvious you need help turning this around. If you need help in employee morale and engagement let me know. It is what I do! You have a spectacular place, but without by in from your employees your business will continue to suffer.

"Just pick one which doesn't have an adjacent door. Each room is very different from the other, look at the pictures."
"I would pick a room facing the lake."
"We enjoyed the touret room on the second floor."
"Demand proof that you are actually in a room at the lake front property, the Manor & Cottage are dark & creepy"
"Free wine for certain rooms."
