Everything was perfect: very nice staff (Joel and his team are awesome people always taking care of every little detail), the view at the water hole is breathtaking (we could see giraffes and elephants!), the bungalows are really in contact with nature, the food was delicious, the game drives were really good, led by Peter who knew everything about the...

Excellent lodge with tree house bungalows. Really friendly staff, food and bar. Game drives available from the property. The viewing area looks into a big waterhole and we saw 6 elephants up close and personal for over an hour. It was really special. Incredibly romantic but great with friends too or families.

Our guide did not leave any stone unturned to make us enjoy Hwange Park and the concession even if it means starting our trip at 5:30 a.m and returning to Ivory Lodge after 18:00. The staff are very nice and made sure we were comfortable. It is a nice lodge to be close to nature while enjoying an excellent service.

Ivory Lodge has treehouses with view on a waterhole. Our guide Peter was really friendly and knew everything about the animals in Hwange National Park. The other staff was friendly aswell and the food was really good.

What more can I say? Upon our arrival at the Ivory Lodge, we were greeted by Jamie, her staff and over 100 elephants by the watering hole. It was quite a treat for us and we made our way down to the "hide" to be closer and observe. Jamie and her staff did a fantastic job making us feel right...

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Ivory Lodge for New Years 2017 (29 Dec 2016 - 1 Jan 2017). From the initial greeting by the staff upon our arrival, through the day we departed, everything was perfect. The staff was very helpful in moving our luggage to our room, and providing a quick tutorial on important aspects...

Went in March 2016 but only found time to write a review now. I arrived at the lodge during sunset and two elephants greeted us among our arrival. This was followed by a herd of elephants and a herd of buffalo at the waterhole during dinner. Jamie told us that we were lucky to spot both Buffaloes and Elephants at...

“Boys loved being in a tent on stilts - keep your lights off at night while not in there to keep the bugs at bay.”

“Seemed like all rooms were on par with equal amenties and views of the watering hole.”
  • View of the watering hole and our resident bushbaby.

“Overall, all chalets are really well positioned (views, spacious, peaceful, tastefully decorated -safari style, well serviced) . We loved our tree house in particular that afforded us direct sunset views. Was spectacular to do so whilst having a bath on the one hand and then walking out to the balcony to watch hordes of elephants indulge themselves by the waterhole and impalas come for a late drink at night....Priceless ”
