The camp is deep in the Hwange National Park and took about 2 hours to reach from the Hwange Main Camp. The camp is beautifully situated in the safari land with waterholes around the camp. There is no phone, wifi or air-conditioner but it's a enlightening experience to be away from the busy world. The camp staff is extremely friendly...

What an amazing week at Somalisa Camp. The rains had started and the park was emerald green. Since our last visit the camp has been completely renovated and the en suite tented facilities are quite amazing. Food is superb and each meal is personally introduced by the chef himself. The staff cannot do enough for you and the guides are...

We visited Somalisa in December for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no TV or Internet -- which lets you really focus on nature and the animals. We saw many animals -- a pride of lions, elephants at night by the watering hole, and cheetahs were highlights. Our guide David was extremely...

Somalisa was an excellent choice of camp recommended by our tour agent! We were very well taken care by the staff and our guide throughout our stay and everyone has been extremely friendly! As we were travelling with young kids who are fussy eaters, our lovely host Beth took notice and made effort to cook something that the kids like....

We stayed at Somalisa Acacia for 3 nights with our disabled daughter and it was perfect. It is the only place we have ever been to where there was simply nothing that could be improved. Everything you could think of had already been thought of and provided! It is impossible to appreciate the beauty of the location and the luxurious...

We absolutely loved our experience at Somalisa Acacia. Our room was perfection. Between the decor, deck, outdoor shower, California king sized bed, charging stations and more, it was perfection. What really won us over was our guide Albert. He was by far the BEST guide we had on a 14 day safari between 6 camps. He was knowledgable, humble, funny,...
