What can I say? View is beautiful if you are ready to pay more than 100 US dollars (twice the price of campsites at the back) for a campsite that doesn't have basic infrastructure such as a good shower, decent toilets and an equipped spot...More
Mana Pools is one of the most beautiful National Parks in Africa and Nyamepi camp a location you will always remember. You sleep in small tents on small beds - but what a starring sky! You fall asleep with the sounds of the wilderness in...More
Please don't go camping at Mana Pools because you'll have a terrible time getting back into the real world. I would hate for you to experience such trauma as not being able to have this back when you get home:hear elephants trumpet for its mate...More
Position, position, position! No 20 is the sought-after campsite and we had it! With a large, ancient Wild Fig tree offering us shade we made camp just beyond the branches’ reach, where the early morning rays would be our alarm clock and at night the...More

We will be a group of 10 people (3 x families) and as part of our camping holiday we are planning to visit Mana Pools during the 2016 July holidays.
Looking at some of the reviews of Nyampeni Camp and taking in consideration our delegation size (3x vehicles), we will be required to take two campsites. I have the following questions:
Q1: The preferred campsites at Nyampeni?
Q2: How does Nyampeni compare to the other campsites for example Muchichiri / Mdungu camps ?
Q3: Should we consider to go to one of the exclusive sites such as BBC / Nkupe / ?? , which one would you recommend and are the camp sites big enough to accommodate all of us?
If anyone have photos of the camping sites/facilities it would be much appreciated.
Your assistance is highly appreciated..
