I stayed here Monday-Friday for a whole year back in the early nineties, so was keen to revisit before an early Heathrow flight last year. On the outside, it hasn't changed much, and inside the rooms are much the same - comfortable and (ours) with a view over the Thames - though the reception/bar area has changed beyond recognition. We...

A decentish hotel but not the best I've been in and one of only a few hotels on offer in Staines itself. No lift on the premises and limited number of rooms on ground floor so expect to have to carry your heavy luggage up quite a few stairs! Staff are not overly receptive to ones needs and there was...

Dear Anne I am sorry that on this occasion you were disappointed with your stay. I treat all feedback with the utmost seriousness and am currently investigating the matter. We have a different price for different category rooms, hence the different in rate. Almost 40% of our rooms are on the ground floor, hence I was surprised about your comments...

The outside of this hotel looks tired but we had a really lovely room, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and best of all truly delicious breakfast watching rowers on The Thames. All staff really friendly - highly recommended.

I had booked this as it was outside of the immediate hustle and bustle of London itself, easy to commute and reasonably priced. I also informed them that we were going to be arriving really early as we would be coming off an international flight, and requested that we leave our bags and “check-in” when we returned from our first...

Though some of the rooms have been updated, not all of them have. Some rooms have had power showers installed but some showers still come straight off the bath taps. Be careful if you have the older style as the water can run hot and cold.

Great stay at the hotel. Upgrade to Privilège room well worth the extra. Well furnished room. Bathroom shower and bath option. Mini bar available and Nespresso café machine was good. In room safe available too. Staff welcoming. Would recommend.
