Very rickety corridors, incredibly scruffy rooms and no AirCon. The AirCon item is particularly bad as the only option you now have, besides suffocating in summer, is to open the balcony door which means that all the midges & co from the Thames will now happily enter your room as there is no fly screen of course. Booked for 3...

Stayed here for one night on business. Entrance is nice enough and check in was quick and easy. This is pretty much where the good stops. The stairs are old and rickety, not too much of an issue with. Good quality well fitted carpet - nope not here! The carpets are older than me I think! Ill fitting, patched together,...

Yes Ok this hotel is nicely situated on the banks of the Thames and the rear is far more impressive than the front of the hotel which is on a busy street. This however is just a very average hotel which charges a premium rate for a pretty ordinary service. Having arrived pretty late around 8.30pm to check in was...

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before, and was disappointed to say the least on my most recent visit. My room was about as far away from reception as it’s possible to get, and with no lift it was something of a trial. I finally got to my room via the lounge bar, which has a carpet so baggy...

This Mercure is nicely located on the River and is nice for the price. The River rooms have some great views , especially if the weather is nice ( which it wasn't whilst I was there ) . Rooms are clean comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a short walk to some nice pubs and restaurants...
