We very enjoyed our short stay at Ruby's Cove. Very warm atmosphere, lovely room. Donna, the proprietor, was more than friendly, letting us know about places to go, good places to eat. Greenport is also a very cool location - on the tip of the north fork of Long Island, with lots of farms, winerys and other places to visit....

Ruby's Cove is a very pleasant and relaxing B&B. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Loved sitting on the front porch because it was so quiet and relaxing. One morning there was such a cool pleasant breeze that Donna said she would bring our breakfast out there. It was so enjoyable.. We stayed in the Madeline room and loved it. All...

My wife and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary at Ruby's Cove in August. We stayed in the Madeline room. If you like quaint with a flair of early American then this is the place for you. We felt spoiled from the moment we arrived. The owner, Donna, had asked if there was anything she could do to make our...

We recently spent three nights here. It was just lovely. So relaxing and tranquil. We loved the room, just be aware of the tight quarters for the shower. We easily walked right into town several times, and took a few field trips as well. We went to Shelter Island and to Orient Point. Donna provided a beach bag, towels, and...

My wife and I spent a full weekend in the Madeline room at Ruby's Cove in early July. We felt spoiled from the moment we arrived. The owner, Donna, had a bottle of wine and a growler of craft beer (from the brewery right next door) waiting for us on ice. A number of little snacks were available as well....

Just back from our second stay at Ruby's Cove B&B over 4th of July and we feel like we left home. Donna is funny, happy, loving, a great cook and most of all she makes sure that her home is your home. From yummy gourmet breakfast to lazy late afternoon gatherings on the front porch Ruby's Cove is a special...

I recently stayed at Ruby's Cove with my husband as a gift from our children. Well, what a gift it was. Donna is just the sweetest, most helpful B&B owner I have ever encountered, and I only stay at B&Bs. She was always willing to answer all of our questions, recommend new places to see and eat and made us...

My wife and I recently stayed at Ruby's Cove BnB and we had an amazing time. Donna is a excellent host - it's been a while since we've been to Greenport and she gave us great tips on where to eat and what to check out. She is a very warm and kind person. The rooms are nice and cozy,...

I find it surprising that a fellow traveler ("Doby47") would leave a negative review about Ruby’s Cove. Their experience was nothing like mine. I recently stayed there in late June 2016 based on the enthusiastic recommendation of my daughter who stayed there one year earlier. I found the proprietor to be totally helpful in helping me fine-tune my Greenport visit....
