I’ve stayed here for the last 9 years minus 2020 and this place has gradually been allowed to deteriorate. The first room the registration person sent me to was occupied. The next, where I stayed despite misgivings, had big stains on the carpet and on one of the bedspreads. There were strange size towels, not hand towels and not big enough for bath towels. very weird. Some of the lights don’t work so someone put in a desk lamp. I’m not sure the fridge is working very well, either. And the AC makes a loud noise when the compressor comes on. The hot water is so hot someone could get scalded. I just think these new owners don’t know very much about the American hospitality industry. They need to learn quickly. Their cleaning crew is simply not up to snuff. I’ve got a good stain on the wall as I sit at the desk typing this review.
Thankfully the Hamburg dog park is not far and, as always, REDROOF takes dogs and has outside entrance to the rooms which makes loading in easier.
I have a feeling there are people living here full time. That usually doesn’t bode well for upkeep.

We booked this because we were looking for a deal. We feel it was a good value for the buck. While not a five star hotel it is what it is and the staff both when we checked inThe evening of September 10 and then checked out very early on September 11 were perfect. Especially the woman manning the desk in the early morning hours, friendly tips on where to get a value breakfast and how to get back to the highway quickly and very cheerful. Hats off to the staff.

I have stayed here 3 different times and I want to really like it here, but the doors have major gaps and cold air is constantly leaking into the rooms. . The one room we had, the heater could not keep up, even on the highest setting. This last time we were lucky to have an adequate heater in our room.

Also, the pillows are the worst. I do not mind the beds, but the pillows are like rocks. I can safely say they are some of the worst pillows I have experienced in all of my travels. Other Red Roofs have better pillows than this.

I can say the place is clean and the staff is friendly! The location is convenient, so that is a plus.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years while in town on business. It used to be clean and of course it is no secret this chain is basic/economy. We stayed this past weekend and the room was filthy. My socks stuck to the sticky, filthy, uncleaned floor. Used towels from the previous guest were left hanging on the back of the door. Used soap was left at the sink with someone else's hair stuck to it. There were old pretzels on the floor under the HVAC unit. The floor was so filthy it was impossible not to track the filth into the beds. At the desk there is a sign stating they aren't providing house keeping services due to the pandemic and it is obvious they are not cleaning the rooms between guests. I think the pandemic excuse is getting a little old, not to mention this filth is very concerning from a hygienic perspective. This property has lost me as a customer. I am appalled.

I can’t believe how much this motel has gone downhill . I wrote a review last year and noted some issues related to some room issues, but it was clean. This stay was very different. Please, please rip out the carpet and take a mop to the bathroom floor. It was beyond filthy. A proper box spring is needed for the bed, not two twins for a King bed. What was going on two rooms down from me? It was left open all day and the bedding was thrown all over the room. Trashed by customers? Bedbugs? i will not be returning.

You read some other recent reviews and think, “how bad could it be? It’s a national chain, and I don’t need anything fancy.” It is sooooo bad. Our nonsmoking room reeeeeked of cigarettes and pot. The clothes I wore into that room reeked afterward. The sheets are stained. Everything is dirty. Filth. Cobwebs. Dead bugs on the walls. The wood around the door locks is all gouged. People partied and smoked and drank on the balcony outside our door till all hours of the morning. The smoke detector in our room was gone, with wires dangling.

This property at one time was a nice, clean, decent place. Of course it has been over 5 years since I last stayed here. The bonus was I was able to check in early (1pm). The first room I entered had carpet on the floor and it was evident the room had not been vacuumed. I returned to the front desk and was given a new room, without carpet. It was evident this new room had not been swept. It smelled faintly of smoke. The HVAC unit had a gouge in it. The bathroom had a urine smell. I gave in and just stayed in this room because it was only one night and my time in it would be minimal. I typically recommend Red Roof to my traveling friends, but this one unfortunately has gone downhill. There are better properties in the vicinity that are a better value for your dollar.

I should have been clued in when I opened the door and the stink of stale cigarette smoke hit me in the face. The facility lists itself as smoke-free, but clearly they do not enforce it.
Then I saw the stains on the floor, the sticky shade on the desk lamp, and an unknown black stain on the bathroom floor. When I looked at my socks to see why they were sticking to the floor, I decided it was time to cut and run. The only plus to this hotel was the front manager. He was apologetic, and gave me a full refund, since I had only been in the room for 90 minutes. The final kicker: this 'pet friendly' location had a pile of dog **** right outside my door. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!

We had a nice 4 day get away planned, to celebrate my birthday and relax. The adventure began with neither of the room keys would unlock the door. The man on duty, once he returned to the office, accused my wife of demagnitizing both cards. Given new cards we were able to get into the room, but had to really push on the door. We noticed that the room wasn't really clean but were willing to accept it, until we noticed the toilet leaking so badly that we didn't feel we could stay. We were moved 2 doors down, maybe a little cleaner but woke up to another leaking toilet. We called the office, who sent a man to our room with keys to room number 3. This room was fairly clean, and only minor leaking from the toilet base. The king mattress was on a queen base,so was a bit tricky to navigate. Overall the rooms were not clean and needed a lot of maintenance. Lesson learned that we won't be staying at Red Roof again.
Gave it a 1 because 0 not an option.

There were stains on the bedspread, five inch hole in the dirty wall, 2 of 3 drawers were completely missing from the dresser, the phone didn't work at all, neither ice machine worked and I can't even put words the condition of the bathroom. We've stayed at a lot of Red Roof Inns and this one for years but in the last two years it has really gone downhill. Certainly not worth the $146 they were charging.
