I've stayed here 4 years ago while attending a Buffalo Bills game, funny thing I ended up with the same room on the ground floor. For a non smoking room the room reeked of smoke. The bed was comfortable and that's it, fridge door wouldn't stay shut. Bathroom in very need of repairs. Oh yes and instant HOT water to where I burnt my hand!!! WOW!!! There was a safe in the room that didn't work. I think I'll go to the comfort inn next door next time I go to a game. Looks like new owners and that will tell you why it's the way it is...
There were stains on the bedspread, five inch hole in the dirty wall, 2 of 3 drawers were completely missing from the dresser, the phone didn't work at all, neither ice machine worked and I can't even put words the condition of the bathroom. We've stayed at a lot of Red Roof Inns and this one for years but in the last two years it has really gone downhill. Certainly not worth the $146 they were charging.
At first blush I was disappointed. The longer I was there the room grew on me. Bed was comfortable - I woke up not crippled CHECK TV and wifi were fine - CHECK Room and bathroom were clean - CHECK Value of the room was good, location suited me well. If you have excellent hearing, ask for a room not facing the highway.
We had a superior king. It was average at best, even for a Red Roof. The bed was ok, the heat worked, and it was clean. That gives it a “3” to me. But the paint was peeling, the “drawer” in the dresser was broken and fell on my girlfriend’s foot, and there was no ice bucket and the front desk wouldn’t give us one. It was pretty noisy as well. There are other places at this exit - HI Express, Comfort Inn, etc. I would try them next time instead.
Such a low-quality stay. The air conditioner barely worked on a 90-degree day. The shower head was broken. Room was grimy. The bed was on the uncomfortable side. No washcloths, no tissues. I get that this is an economy hotel, but this was pathetic. And not even overly inexpensive at $132 for one night. I won’t return.
John/Christina are polite and very helpful people. I am enjoying my stay in their place of business. I enjoyed our talk at check-in. The rooms are large and very clean. The ground are beautiful maintained.
The door to room was hard to open and missing the safety chain, road noise through out the night being right next to the freeway, and bare minimal accommodation with uncomfortable bed. will not stay here again even if it was the only place available.
I should have been clued in when I opened the door and the stink of stale cigarette smoke hit me in the face. The facility lists itself as smoke-free, but clearly they do not enforce it. Then I saw the stains on the floor, the sticky shade on the desk lamp, and an unknown black stain on the bathroom floor. When I looked at my socks to see why they were sticking to the floor, I decided it was time to cut and run. The only plus to this hotel was the front manager. He was apologetic, and gave me a full refund, since I had only been in the room for 90 minutes. The final kicker: this 'pet friendly' location had a pile of dog **** right outside my door. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!
We had a nice 4 day get away planned, to celebrate my birthday and relax. The adventure began with neither of the room keys would unlock the door. The man on duty, once he returned to the office, accused my wife of demagnitizing both cards. Given new cards we were able to get into the room, but had to really push on the door. We noticed that the room wasn't really clean but were willing to accept it, until we noticed the toilet leaking so badly that we didn't feel we could stay. We were moved 2 doors down, maybe a little cleaner but woke up to another leaking toilet. We called the office, who sent a man to our room with keys to room number 3. This room was fairly clean, and only minor leaking from the toilet base. The king mattress was on a queen base,so was a bit tricky to navigate. Overall the rooms were not clean and needed a lot of maintenance. Lesson learned that we won't be staying at Red Roof again. Gave it a 1 because 0 not an option.…
I rarely write reviews but in the interest of helping someone else - I write this one. This was the WORST place I have ever stayed in, and by far the WORST Red Roof INN. DO NOT STAY HERE. The room smelled like cigarettes (it reeked), I found a hair in the bedsheets, the faucet was spurting water- and appeared to be ready to break. I was traveling with a dog, and when I took him out to walk there were units with LOADS of dog poop all around the doors and on the small plots of grass- It looked like people were living here (one place had clothes and towels hanging on an outside rail)- Another had an outdoor dog crate. In the middle of the night at one point there was a huge domestic fight outside my door and I saw blue police lights. I could not get out of there fast enough. DO NOT STAY there especially if you are traveling alone.…
