My daughter and I spent an all-too-short visit to Peaceful Pines during a recent visit to Colgate University. Though April, we arrived in a cold spell, with snow and some freezing rain. The property is located about 5-10 minutes from Hamilton, on a secluded road. The road is not fully paved, but we had absolutely no problems making it there,...

Kevin was a great host. It felt more like visiting your aunt and uncle then staying at a B&B. His amazing daughter was in town and we chatted it up as well. He waited up for me and had breakfast waiting in the morning. Very accommodating.

We enjoyed our visit to Peaceful Pines. Kevin is a terrific Innkeeper. Peaceful Pines sits on the top of a hill, overlooking Hamilton (only a brief ride to town). The property is meticulously maintained inside and out. Pretty grounds, beautiful view. Our room was super clean and very comfortable. Kevin is a gracious host. Thank you Kevin! And yes, it's...

We just got back from a wonderful visit at Peaceful Pines with Kevin and Leslie. The house is beautiful and the grounds are spectacular. We were there visiting family. It made for a great base camp to come 'home' to at night. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite. The bed was soooo comfortable. And the bathroom, with it's jacuzzi tub,...

My husband and I have stayed at Peaceful Pines twice - once in the downstairs apartment and once in the Natalie Suite upstairs. I can highly recommend both. It is just minutes from Colgate and a wonderful place to use as "base camp" while visiting the school - very accessible to the village of Hamilton but in a bucolic setting...

We visited our daughter at Colgate last weekend and stayed at this beautiful B&B. The property is gorgeous. Kevin, the owner and host Was very hospitable and accommodating. The house is located on a hill and overlooks the valley and town. Amazing views. We stayed at the "apartment", a suite with a bedroom and sitting room. Great experience.

My daughter and I were to visit Colgate this month, but we had to cancel our trip. When we do go, or whenever I am in the general area, I will stop and stay with Kevin. It was such a pleasure discussing our trip and talking with him, I would recommend his B&B to anyone! Relationships forged make the B&B...

Peaceful Pines is our favorite go-to B&B so far! We are "Stay-cationers", usually preferring to travel within a 3-4 hour distance from home. We do our research before we book and Kevin, proprietor, was extremely helpful and responsive. The property is just a few miles outside of Hamilton, and the last mile is up a hill. We would consider this...

We had another place and were disappointed with upkeep. We're not usually a B&B type, but this place was a perfect for what we needed. It was 5 minutes from Colgate. When you arrive, you travel up a long gradual hill that provides a spectacular view overlooking a meadow, a lake, and gazebo. The decks and surrounding outside area was...

“I would spend the extra $ for the Master Suite, it is totally worth it. The air conditioning is a single window unit, which is not as comfortable or quiet as central a/c, but it worked and wasn't too noisy.”

“The honeymoon suite is one of the best I've ever seen. All the rooms are very sunny except for the apartment, although no room is better than the other. Nothing like watching the sun rise over the fog layered valley, with my morning coffee!”
