My wife and I stayed in the Pleasant Valley room and it was very comfortable. We also got the couples Swedish massage which was on site, so incredibly convenient and the masseurs were great. Deb and Mark are incredibly personable and helpful. The suggested everything from wineries, restaurants and ice cream shops to antique shops to help us find some...

Hi Ben and Christina, It was fun having you with us, even if it was for only one night. We really enjoyed chatting with you in the studio, seeing photos of your new house, and brainstorming ideas for your porch light fixture. You’ll have to send us a picture when you have it all wired up. We look forward to...

Wonderful weekend on Keuka lake at the black sheep in. Deb and Mark are attentive to every detail and were so personable. It was a repeat visit for us and we were welcomed back like old friends. Delicious breakfasts and beautiful grounds.

Wendy and Stephen, It was great to have you with us again, and it was really fun to see James, (an old high school teacher), again. We’re glad that all of the wineries were as enjoyable as ever, and that we could recommend a couple of new ones to you as well. Maybe next trip you’ll have the chance to...

A perfect retreat for a long weekend at Keuka Lake. The location just outside of the center of Hammondsport was ideal. Deb and Marc are incredibly gracious hosts and eager to help in every way; plus their knowledge of the area and the history was certainly welcome. And last but not least, the food was delicious and definitely prepared and...

Hi Jacqueline and Jon, Thanks so much for your kind comments. We enjoyed having you with us, and we’re glad that you had time to explore the area a little in between wedding events. We feel very lucky to be in close proximity to the village of Hammondsport, but still in a rural setting just outside the village. And we’re...

From the start, Deb & Marc greeted us like old acquaintances. They're attentive to every detail. It was easy to strike up conversations and I could tell that they have a genuine interest in the traveler's story. Thanks for your help with my story. My husband and I spent the third weekend of July in Hammondsport. Our room, Younglove, was...

Hi Amy and Gerald, It was truly a pleasure to have you both here. And we couldn’t be happier for you on the great discoveries you made during your genealogical quest. I guess you never know who you’re going to meet when you start pulling at the family threads. As for the recipe for the peaches, we’ll just have to...

My wife and I spent two nights in this charming and cozy inn just outside of the (great!) village of Hammondsport. Deb and Marc are extremely friendly and inviting and their inn is a wonderful place to stay. They provided us with great travel tips and healthy and hearty breakfasts each day. Highly recommended!

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in the beautiful Taylor Suite. Deb and Marc are so wonderfully welcoming -- they made us feel completely comfortable. The inn is a lovingly restored 19th century historic octagonal house minutes from Hammondsport, at the south end of Keuka Lake. There seemed to be an abundance of wineries and breweries in the area, although...

Glenn and Debby, It’s always great to have visits from friends in Cleveland! And we particularly enjoyed helping you celebrate your milestone anniversary. As you know, we are hikers ourselves, and we like to spread the word about all of the great hikes here in the Finger Lakes. We look forward to seeing you again soon. xo D&M

Debbie and Marc are a great team, and they make you feel very comfortable. They both have excellent pointers to share about local eateries and museums. Debbie's organic breakfasts amazing. They are a result of effort which take weeks - if not months of planning to prepare. She and Marc take pains to select and source the organic farms, keep...

This wonderful place isn't for everyone. It isn't for people who want their innkeepers to slip around silently avoiding interaction. It isn't for people who want breakfasts that they could have gotten at Denny's. It isn't for people who can only live with right angles. But...it is for people who want to get to know two people who have worked...
