Very convenient, quiet location just outside of NJ, where we were headed to visit a friend. Clean and comfortable; basic but adequate decor. Good amount of space at a decent price. Has a lovely pool that I didn't have time to check out. Hot breakfast options. A very nice Applebee's is across the parking lot, and a Wendy's is across the street. Passed through historic Sleepy Hallow which is close by. Would stay again.
Visiting from Australia. Quite pricey really. I was surprised at how expensive it was considering it’s location. Hotel is quite dated however is very clean.. Hot breakfast was advertised but hot options did not arrive till 15 mins after advertised time which meant I had to miss out.
This is a clean, convenient Comfort Inn about 15 minutes from Sleepy Hollow. It has a medium size indoor pool and includes a free substantial breakfast. For more quiet, ask for a room in the back away from the elevators. There is only one negative—thin walls—which can be a problem if your neighbors aren’t quiet. FYI: I booked our room through the hotel’s website. I had no problem with our check-in.
I'm sure that if you need a bed to sleep in, this place is fine. Do not have a situation or circumstance that requires manager assistance, forget it! I'm a travel nurse working for a nearby hospital. The night before my scheduled reservation, I tested positive for covid. I immediately contacted the hotel to let them know, and was old to forward my results to the managers email address, and they would refund my stay. I sent the results the next day and called to follow up a few days later. I was told the manager was out and to call in 2 days after 3pm. This happened several times for a few weeks before I actually received correspondence from the manager stating that I would need to contact Priceline to get the refund authorized. I immediately called them and they went through the same process with contacting the manager as I did. Eventually, she declined to give he refund. I hen escalated to the Better Business Bureau, and she chose not to respond to that either. I even attempted to reach back out via email thinking she may empathize with my situation and again, she chose not to respond at all. I'm disgusted at this behavior and will not choose them again.…
Were visiting relative in Ossining NY - town w/o hotel or even Airbnb This was close. Somewhat dated building but very well maintained and upgraded for Internet age. Friendly staff. Has type of combined heat/AC on exterior wall common in medium price hotels. But without an external thermostat temperature of room was somewhat erratic and fan next to bed was annoying. However, common in hotels in this price range.
I tried making a reservation directly at the hotel instead of calling the 800 number. Big mistake. I had to call 3 times, and they still didn't get it right. If you see my review from 2020, I said the same thing then--that reservations messed up then too! This time, I wanted to stay 2 nights. They had me listed at one night in my confirmation email. When they changed it to two nights, the charge was for 3 nights! What good is a confirmation if it's incorrect? This isnt rocket science. They said they could see the correct days and amount on their end. That's all well and good, but if I don't get the correct confirmation, despite 3 attempts, that doesn't help me or my husband. I don't care what they show on their end. I shouldn't have to explain the purpose of a confirmation. We will not be staying here, now or ever.…
Stayed one night and the accommodations were very good. Only complaint I have was about the odd temperature settings for the A/C. It would cool off the room and then shut off and things would get too stuffy and would have to manually adjust the dial. Small thing to point out. Otherwise very nice place. Recommend.
This .motel, right off of the Parkway, sits on a hill making it very quiet. There are restaurants within walking distance. The handicap accessible room was large, clean,, nicely decorated and well laid out. The reception area was very pretty and the staff very polite and helpful. Linda, who initially booked my reservation, was particularly helpful upon meeting her when our medical circumstance requests were met with compassion and helpfulness. Highly recommended.
We were greeted with a smile, had an amazing room. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable. The room was HUGE! Breakfast attendant was so helpful and the selection was great for this being during a pandemic. Everything was perfect for 2 best friends on a road trip!
This is the second time I've stayed here and it was an enjoyable stay even though this was for business. The front desk people at night are very pleasant and helpful. Reservations was not helpful -- they messed up my reservation at least once, so you may want to call the 800 number rather than reserve right at the Comfort Inn. However, they have a great swimming pool, and they still have bathtubs. Many chains are getting rid of both, so I was happy to have them. Sometimes the prices here are very high but during Feb, they were quite reasonable. I would recommend that the motel do something about replacing the torn inner drapes, and please add some fruit salad to the breakfast so that there are more healthy options. It would also helpful, as other chains have done, to be able to get hot chocolate, tea, and coffee 24/7 at the lobby or dining area. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.…
