My daughter & son-in-law had a wedding to attend in this area this past weekend. We stayed over night and got to watch our sweetie pie grandaughter, Charlotte for the day. We had a wonderful time with her especially during dinner and the following day's breakfast. She is a class-A ham and gets everyones attention with that personality. It was...

Thank you for your review, Rick. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry to hear you found the futon thin. It is a thick futon- but a futon, none the less. We will look into providing an additional foam topper upon request until we can replace the futon all together. Thanks again for letting us know.

We absolutely loved the Clove Cottages. My wife and I stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and we fell in love with the place. We stayed during a time when they only rent out one cottage, so we had the whole place to ourselves. We took walks around the area, woke up to the birds singing outside of our...

These cottages are simple, well equipped with just enough nice touches. Thick down comforter, kitchen basics (sugar, coffee, oil, plastic wrap and tin foil, granola). Evergreen had full fridge and stove/oven microwave, waffle maker, coffee maker, popcorn maker, grill. This is an easy 15-30 minute drive to many trail heads in Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve, only 15 minutes...

We knew that we wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten path. My boyfriend and I are not high maintenance AT ALL so Clove Cottages was just perfect for us! To have our own space and be able to do our own thing was just what we needed. We stayed in the yellow cottage, grilled awesome food every night, sat...

We stayed at the Purple Cottage for our first wedding anniversary in October. The proprietors, Noah and Michelle, were really friendly and super helpful with offering suggestions for activities. We were traveling with our 3 month old daughter, and this was a great place for her: clean, quiet, comfortable...plus two llamas and chickens on property to check out! The cottages...

Noah and Michelle, thank you so much for a wonderful time we had at your cottage. It was the perfect, serene, pet friendly vacation for my husband, Oreo and I. We enjoyed the hiking, swimming, the farmer's market and cooking the fresh vegetables on the outdoor grill. We enjoyed your Llamas and chickens too. Most importantly I learned how easy...

If you are heading to enjoy the Monhonk preserve area for its rock claiming, biking, swimming, hiking, and good food - Clove Cottages will put you at the center of it all for a fair price. The cottages are small, and spartan. The AC tiny and TV even tinier. - But you came for the great outdoors NOT to watch...

Michelle is a great host. The cottages are very clean, environment friendly and quaint. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a few nights around New Paltz. I recommend dinner at the Northern Spy Cafe and checking out Lake Minnewaska.

Was delighted with my stay at Clove Cottages. Situated on a quiet country road close to Minnewaska and Mohunk, the setting is quintessentially peaceful. Hosts Michelle and Noah are obviously dedicated to living a green, compassionate lifestyle: caring for their immediate environment(mostly solar powered, off the grid, composting, recycling), their traditional companion animals(who are rescues)and less traditional companion animals:the charming...

An amazing place to stay! Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is perfectly nested in a beautiful neighborhood next to Minnewaska lake, Mohonk preserve, lots of farms for fresh veggies and fruits, and cute towns to visit such as Newpaltz or Woodstock. The cottage grounds are beautiful and with a nice deck and chairs outside your cottage, a great place...
