What a lovely Bed and Breakfast conveniently located to Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie and Rhinebeck. We were there early May and was immediately impressed with the beautiful yard and lovely Victorian home. Jane and Neil greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the home and invited us to enjoy tea and refreshments. We stayed in the Blue Suite while our...

Neil and Jane are friendly, kind hosts who have thought of everything. The rooms are very well equipped with anything you might need. The antiques throughout this lovely old home are gorgeous. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. A great spot to relax.

The Stonegate is lovely! From our first glimpse when we arrived, we were impressed. Our room, the Southside, was beautiful, comfortable, but not overcrowded with decor. It was perfect for my husband and I. The hosts are nice and seem to genuinely enjoy having guests. We would definitely visit again!

Very quiet and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming with delicious breakfast. We stayed in fireside room. Spacious and comfortable with private bath. About 15 minutes to New Paltz, Roosevelt and Vanderbilt attractions and CIA. Easy to come and go after checkin. Village of Highland almost walking distance with small area for coffee, restaurants and church. Highly recommended.

My partner and I were looking to get away for a few days in the area to escape NYC, my work schedule changed a week before and we had to change our reservation and Jane and Neil were beyond accommodating. We ended up being the only guests, since it was off season, which made our trip feel like we were...

This was my first experience in a B&B and it couldn't have been better! The owners were friendly and informative when they greeted us and the house is beautiful! We were in the fireside suite and it felt like home. It was cozy and spacious and just felt comfortable and right. The fireplace was a wonderful added bonus! Breakfast was...

We had the fireside suite. It was large, romantic, very clean and comfortable --and with an attached bathroom. The whole place is very well run. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts are lovely--very kind and thoughtful. The house is beautiful. There are only four rooms, and you have a lot of privacy. We stayed for two nights and every room...

This lovely B&B is convenient, beautifully furnished and you will be in good hands with Jane & Neal, the owners. They will allow you to have your privacy, but they are always available if you need anything. You won't go hungry staying here, either! Breakfast is delicious....and plentiful! We stayed only one night in the Fireside Room......a nice, large room...

My wife and I recently planned a trip to Hyde Park, NY to tour the FDR home & National Park. While searching for a nice place to stay on Trip Advisor we came across the Stonegate Bed & Breakfast. It had excellent reviews so we decided to stay there. I must say everything we read in the reviews was dead...

We spent three nights at Stonegate for our anniversary trip. The hosts Jean and Neil were very helpful and provided us with many suggestions to enhance our planned trip. The house is very nice, well maintained and the rooms and private bathrooms are large for a B&B. What a treat. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the entire place...
