We visited the Inn and we loved the location with close proximity to Lenox, MA and Catamount Ski Resort! We would stay there again, the innkeeper Deborah was amazing. The meals were outstanding and our room was fantastic. Highly Recommended!

Dear "hdrfinancial" - Delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Inn. I agree that our location on the border of western Massachusetts and the upper Hudson Valley of New York state offers our visitors a myriad of options when planning their stays. We are convenient to the many cultural and historic attractions of both Berkshire and Columbia Counties, as...

Came here in November 2016 with my girlfriend for our anniversary. This inn is a cozy little getaway spot in the northern most reaches of New York, surrounded by the simplicity of small towns with interesting spots found wherever you look. The innkeeper, Deborah, was absolutely lovely and helpful, giving us sage advice on where to go and the best...

Dear Bianca V - Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your anniversary trip to upstate NY (just 2 hours north of NYC). Yes, I agree, the charming little towns in our upper Hudson River Valley/Berkshires of western Mass. location are great fun to explore. And I am glad you enjoyed the scones. Did you see...

My wife and I were getting away for our anniversary - I stumbled on the Inn at Green River and we could not have been happier. The Inn has great charm with unique and interesting decoration - at the same time it was warm and inviting. Deborah really made us feel welcome and helped me with a delicious cake to...

Thank you Jeff Z, for your kind review of the Inn. Glad that you enjoyed everything from the almond cake for your wife, to a great trip to Mass MoCA. I am still trying to get up there to see that Nick Cave show, but I will before winter is over. And do come back in another season....yes, lots more...

Sitting in a triangle between Rts 22 and 71 you wouldnt think this barely noticeable building houses one of the most homey and well kept inns in New England. It just goes to show you don't have to be grandiose or situated on an estate to get the service and welcoming quality you're looking for. The rooms are comfortable with...

Dear "LaurenMerc" - Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience at the Inn this past October in such great detail. I am pleased you appreciated the care that goes into running the Inn. I apologize that my house keeper failed to provide more of the wonderful Bumble and Co. artisanal bath amenities for you. We stayed in one of the king rooms with fireplace upstairs. It was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom quite small. Breakfast very good but one choice only. Debra the owner very helpful and pleasant. I think snacks, tea and lemonade in the afternoons would be nice. Overall one must evaluate the "in season" price. We were not...

Dear "CaliforniaTraveler17" - Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Inn. I regret that you didn't realize that tea and cookies were available in the afternoon. The signature ginger molasses cookies are usually left out for guests, and I am always happy to put the kettle on and make a pot of freshly brewed, loose...

We stayed in the smallest room, upstairs and at the back of the property. However, this was very comfortable and certainly large enough for the two of us. One advantage was that we were away from the road and so did not experience any noise problems despite having the window open each night. We had a wonderful time at this...
