We needed a place to stay over on route from Maun to Jhb. What a delightful place. Quiet and comfortable. The units are VERY private and the surrounding area is beautiful. I would have liked to stay longer. The only negative is the restaurant- the food was not good at all!

The campsites are large and spacious. They are set apart from others. Each site has a braai area, fire pit and running water at each. Toilets and showers are well maintained and there is hot water. Restaurant, bar and pool are also lovely. Great place to visit and good value!

The chalets are basic but have everything one needs. Clean, with a fridge, hot water showers. We had no problems booking and paying our deposit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our dinner and breakfast was taken at the restaurant on site and we enjoyed the food. We went on our own game drive and were fortunate enough to see... More

The Park Itself: Fabulous staff at the entrance and shop. The park is well kept and it was wonderful to see not only the Rhinos but also all the other wild life. Great to see the army patrols. Two outdoor staff members, walking around the chalets, looked hung over at 11am....this is not acceptable. Booking Office: Hopeless! Bookings made in... More

We camped here overnight. The campsites are very spacious and the ablutions basic, but have everything you need. It is a lovely drive around the park and plenty of opportunities to see rhino's. It was great to have a swimming pool to relax and cool down in after a day of driving Would come back again

Khama is a good stay over when travelling in Botswana. The negatives are no wi-fi and limited cellphone reception. The restaurant also had limited options on the menu. We had good game viewing and plenty bird life.

We had a lovely stay at the Khama rhino sanctuary on our way to Moremi. The bungalow was clean and the beds comfortable. It was very COLD in the rooms, though. The food was not bad and the staff friendly. We had a small game drive in the morning before heading out. Good value for money.

The chalets sleep 4 in two areas, the main area and a separate room. There is also a bathroom, fridge & dining area in the main area of the chalet. The bathroom was basic, but the water hot. It was very cold when we were there, about 2-3 Celcius, but the rooms had extra very thick blankets which ensured that... More

We camped at Khama for a number of years now and it is always a great place with large stands good ablutions and great game spotting especially the Rhinos. Well protected by the Botswana army. Firewood for sale at the shop. Excellent stopover on your way to Kubu Island and Central Kalahari. Campsite 13 is the best.

After trying for a number of years to get accommodation at Khama, we, at last, succeeded in securing a booking more than a year in advance. We were pleasantly surprised with the little chalets , situated in the peaceful and tranquil game reserve. Overall an okay experience, although the chalets could have a thorough spring-clean and the plumbing needs a... More
