Hi I am looking at travelling to stay at Sakatia Lodge. Am so excited, the reviews look great, and it looks amazing! My question is about costs and affordability once you actually GET there! I have to quite budget conscious, as just getting there and staying for a week in high season is costing me a fortune! (I'm travelling from SA) What are the rest of the costs like, once you get there? I am staying on a half board basis, so I guess will have to pay for all meals, other than breakfast, is the restaurant / bar expensive - travelling on the Rand? Also, the day trips and excursions, are they international (usd or eur) prices, or are they affordable for South Africans? Just want make sure I don't get there, and not be able to have a cocktail (or six!) or do excursions or day trips, because the costs there are so expensive? Would appreciate your feedback!

Yes, the hotel has fins and mask/snorkel you can borrow and if you swim from the beach there is a seaweed bed where turtles are often found about 100-200m out. There is also some coral nearby.
