The venue is beautiful and pristine from when you enter the gates, really spectacular gardens and walkways with a breathtaking view at sea level. The pool area is spotless and so relaxing to enjoy the view and a cocktail, and lunch is a next level experience. The menu is very comprehensive, and the staff are happy to be flexible to accommodate your taste! Angela is a brilliant host, we were welcome and comfortable from arrival to departure.

Not many words can describe the experience we had... Just... WOW! It is in my opinion the place with the BEST view in Vilankulo, and offers you the best combo of swimming pool + beach, with an amazing infinity pool right in front of the beach. The rooms were the best and so cozy. Just add a bathtub and it will be perfect 😍 The food was great and very consistent, and prices are very reasonable. The best thing of our trip however, was that the whole staff was so friendly, and really outdid themselves in making our experience the best ever. From organizing our tours to getting us towels for our island hopping adventure and opening exceptions at the kitchen for our convenience, everyone was just on top of their game and thanks to that we had the best time ever. Hats off, I recommend the lodge and can say that it's definitely the place to be in Vilankulo! ❤️❤️❤️…

We had an absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is beautiful with a big pool, a nice garden and a very nice open restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are a lot of activities available ! I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch at Vilankulos beach Lodge. The menu had a variety of dishes we could choose from. The meal was well presented the staff were wonderful. Well Done Beach lodge you deserve 5 stars.

The staff at VBL are friendly, provide exceptional service and are amenable to arranging requested excursions on your behalf with other professional service providers. The food is highly recommended and halaal- friendly. Apart from being scrumptious, the portions are large as well. The room is sufficiently spacious with the exception of the toilet. The resort amenities are great, an infinity pool overlooks the bath-water temperature ocean! The spa is currently only serviced by one masseuse, making couple massages difficult and the wifi was unreliable at times. Thank you to all the staff at VBL, who ensured warm service, always had a smile to offer and went above and beyond to plan several birthday surprises for us. A highly recommended spot for couples and families.

We had a wonderful stay at Vilanculos Beach Lodge. The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings with direct beach access and a wonderful ocean view (I would recommend making the effort to get up to watch the sunrise above the ocean). The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They also helped us organise an amazing boat trip to Bazaruto. We very much enjoyed all of the facilities that the lodge has to offer, such as the spa, pool, games, kayaks and paddle boards. Some of the kayak/paddle board equipment was a little old/worn out so if you're not experienced you might have a bit of difficulty but we were able to use them without problems. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, the breakfast selection was huge and each day had different fresh pastries/treats to enjoy in addition to what you would expect from a full breakfast buffet. Lunch/dinner were also fantastic - a nice varied menu, wonderfully fresh ingredients and very tasty, high quality food. Overall we had a very memorable and relaxing stay and I would definitely recommend it. …

We spent 10 days at this wonderful resort, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were blown away by the selection, and high quality of the meals. The location is ideal and right on the beach. Damian and Angela run this lodge with precision, and the staff are excellent. We loved the personal touch, and nothing was overlooked. No night time entertainment, which was no problem, as it is all about great food, gorgeous beach/pool, and meeting new friends. 10/10 Highly recommended. Warm regards Caryl Carter

As you arrive you are blown away with the lush green oasis in front of you, with beautiful big palm trees, a sparkling blue inviting rim flow pool & the views over the pristine ocean. The Beach Lodge is a wonderful place to laze around the pool, go for long walks along the beach, wonderfully warm clear sea swimming & explore the islands. The staff are very accommodating & friendly & go out of their way to make your stay easy. The food was excellent from the breakfast spread of delicious fresh melt in your mouth pastries, cheeses, fruit, cereals etc to a full cooked breakfast. The coffee perfectly strong! The lunch & dinner menus have a large variation & every meal we had was superb! There are plenty day excursions offered & we really enjoyed our day visiting the islands - the Snorkelling at the reef was phenomenal! All in all an awesome place that caters for families & business people too.…
