Ebony Beach is a true luxurious 16 sleeper lodge, 6 bedrooms en-suite with 2 beds sharing a bathroom. Cotton sheets and fluffy towels await!
The living areas are well appointed with comfy couches and a pile of magazines to get through. The kitchen is fully equipped & includes a very helpful chef, James, who is happy to cook an entire meal or just do the prep and let you take the credit for a delicious meal. Prawns, fish, calamari, mussels and not to mention the peri peri chicken!!!! 😋
The housekeeper unobtrusively goes about her duties and before you know it, your room is turned down, and, your washing is ironed and placed neatly in your cupboard.
The lodge is situated on the seafront, on one of the main channels of the archipelago which provides for an ever-changing scenery as the tide constantly changes. Watching the fishing dhow's returning with their days catches through the frame of coconut laden trees, over the sparkling deck pool while sipping a GnT creates a proper yesteryear atmosphere.
Highly recommend!!!!

Watching the fishing dhow's returning with their days catches through the frame of coconut laden trees, over the sparkling deck pool while sipping a GnT creates a proper yesteryear atmosphere. The fisherman are very friendly and will happily barter for their catch, which the chef will just as happily take and prepare for a delishious meal.
Highly recommend!!!!

This was our 3rd visit to Ebony Beach Lodge and it just seems to get better & better! The two villas are able to accommodate our large group of good mates and family comfortably; each house is clean, thoughtfully decorated, fully equipped with the necessities and each have their own beautiful pool areas and wifi!
James and his team are incredible and will look after you and will help you buy any fresh produce from the local traders.
Whether you choose to take leisurely walks (or runs) up and down the beach or relax and sip your cocktails with all your friends & family on the front deck whilst watching the locals go about their daily activities, I would highly recommend you rent a boat, pack a lunch and drinks and take trips out to the various islands (some closer than others) - sooo unspoilt and sooo incredible! There is a lot to do and experience in this stunning stretch of Mocambique.

All in all this lodge is one in a million! It’s situated in paradise with an awesome team of people to look after you!

We will be back!

Nothing beats a beautiful villa right on the beach! Much better to do, with nearby islands, watersports, pools, local market. Exceptional staff, including a chef to help prepare your fish of the day bought from the locals off the beach. Sunrise watching the local fishermen, sundowners on the pool deck. We loved Ebony Beach

There is really not a more perfect place to spend a holiday! The accommodation is first class. Soft crisp linen to kiss your sunburnt body at night. Sunsets and sunrises you will never get enough photos of and food…well…thanks to James you will eat like kings. We have been here twice and really have nothing more than praise for this beautiful spot. Quiet. Mozambique at its best.

Such a beautiful setting, just what the family needed away from the busy city life. Children really enjoyed the boat trips to near by islands. Untouched beaches, great service from Andrisa and the team.
Highly recommended 🙏🏼

A beautiful place right on the beach. Rooms are luxurious and the option of an outside shower with a view is a real treat. A beautiful deck, gardens and pool to enjoy the outdoors with magnificent views of the sea. The villa reflects the personal care and special touches from the owners. Staff are very helpful and friendly. A piece of paradise. Will definitely return.

This was my first trip to Mozambique and luckily I had the opportunity to stay at Ebony beach. The property is stunning and the accomodations are top notch. You're right on the water with an amazing breeze so even with the heat you still feel refreshed while sitting out side watching the sunset. We had an opportunity to some great fishing and even got to see the famed and elusive dugong! I can't recommend this place enough you definitely owe it to yourself to check it out!

Beautiful home in a perfect setting. You can’t help but relax and have an amazing time. Ebony Beach is a comfortable, well run house on the beach. I felt like I was waking up in Paradise every day. We look forward to visiting again this year an hopefully many times in the future too.

The most relaxing holiday ever, truly gives you a feeling of being in paradise. There are two houses on the property, very private from each other. Each house also has its own pool. The property is right on the beach, the grounds are expansive and gardens are beautiful.
