Another fantastic stay at Casa Babi...our favorite place in Vilanculos, and in Mozambique! Sabrina and Denis made us feel at home. We usually stay in the bungalow, but this time we had the rooms - super comfortable beds, bathrooms with natural homemade toiletries, beautiful view of the ever changing blues of the Indian Ocean from the balcony. Every meal was homemade and delicious...I am still dreaming about the breakfasts! Our kids (aged 10 and 12) were busy with the pool, playing with the dogs, paddle boarding, and diving (organized by Odyssea Dive next door). Highly recommend!

We stayed at the self-catering Tucul House, and could not have been happier during our stay. We didn't use our well equiped cottage because we opted to use the in house restaurant, wonderful food, loved the location right by the beach, and loved the way that Sabrina, Denis and all staff, dogs and cats, made as feel like home. Casa Babi is a synonym of heaven : set in the charming town of Vilanculos, Sabrina, Denis and their lovely cats and dogs are a true family to their guests. Their Casa Babi is ideally located on the beautiful and colourful beach of Vilanculos, and faces Bazaruto achipelago islands. The rooms, the food, the views, all are spectacular. Thei diving school is also very conveniently located next door to the hotel, and the staff there is equally friendly and professional. They kindly arranged a last minute diving intro course to be able to do our first dive the next day in the colourful, incredibly beautiful waters of Bazaruto and Benguerra islands. And for a discounted rate too. Heaven it really is !

Casi Babi was an amazing experience. From the exquisite fine dining to the peace and tranquility the property provides, it was a perfect combination for relaxation.
The owners and the staff went out of their way to provide us the best service and readily provided recommendations for all to see and do.
Would recommend this 5 star rated piece of paradise for anyone who wants to experience an idyllic location perfect in everyway. Definitely going back!
P.s the dogs were cherry on top!

I had another amazing visit to Casa Babi in June 2021 after first staying in 2019 (first time solo and second time as a couple). The location and views perfect, and the dive shop next door is convenient for kayaking, scuba diving, or other activities. The food is some of the best I've ever had at a bed and breakfast. Ask for the crab sandwich for lunch! But the best part of Casa Babi are the people. They make you feel like family. Thank you Sabrina, Denis, Antonio, Alfredo, and the whole team (plus the dogs, especially Brownie). Easy visit from the USA via South Africa. We'll be back soon!

The best beach holiday we've had in a while, the location is perfect right on the beach with Sabrina and Deni being wonderful hosts. The activities from Odyssea Dive next door kept everyone busy and having fun.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, with super comfy beds under big mosi nets and fans.
The breakfasts and dinners were superb, a wonderful selection of fresh fruit and pastries each morning followed by your choice of eggs. My teenage sons definitely had their full with all the options offered. Dinners are a set menu with a few options. The menu changes daily, the meals were fresh and tasty, with a wide variety over the 2 weeks we spend here. Sabrina was so helpful and accommodating of special requests for a fussy eater.
We all enjoyed this holiday and hope to return soon.

EXCELLENT! The super comfortable bed, the details of the room are very good and the views UNBEATABLE. Breakfast is very complete and delicious, with a variety of cheeses, hot breads, homemade jams, fruits, eggs, etc. We had dinner almost every night at the hotel because the food is very elaborate, varied and delicious. They also have a very good wine list! They help you organize and book day-to-day excursions. Regarding to the staff, we thank everyone in general and Sabrina in particular, so much kindness, hospitality and generosity. Everybody is friendly there, including dogs and cats :) We love staying at Casa Babi, we recommend it !!

What an amazing place... As a group of kitesurfers, we decided to stay at Casa Babi - and it was the best decision we could have made. Gorgeous surroundings with all kinds of trees and flowers, beautiful rooms with furniture and deco from local artists, the freshest and seriously one of the tastiest foods we've eaten on our numerous around the world kite travels (we had HB), friendly staff, fantastic kite and dive instructors who'll take you on day trips you'll never forget, a wide variety of other offered activities (ie. local cooking classes the African way!) and the owners, Sabrina and Denis, who have an incredible eye for detail and always go that extra mile to make your stay truly special. My partner and I went to Casa Babi for a week in September. We wanted a relaxing holiday away from Zambia, but also a place we could enjoy some activities we love.
Casa Babi was the perfect place for us. The food was amazing, the tiny details from the cheese and bread at breakfast, to the options for starters, mains and deserts at dinner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, could always give us the best recommendations on what to do.
The view from Casa Babi was amazing, situated right on the beach you can wake up to the sunrise on the ocean. The amenities in the room were also amazing, from the coconut oil to the shampoo and conditioner.
Casa Babi is very central, so my partner and I could go to lunch at other lodges if we wanted something different. He was able to fish for the day and I was able to horse ride without any issues. Casa Babi is right next to the dive shop Odyssea, which was very convenient to walk to early in the morning before my dive
There are dogs at this lodge, they are very friendly and go about their day in the sun enjoying the view. Brownie is adorable and playful.

Like a dream. Set in an authentic location between a local village and beach full of local fishermen. Next door to a kite surf and dive school. All facilities have the quality you’d expect in an upmarket hotel. Yet this place combines that with a very personal feel and all the charm of a family-run guesthouse. The place has been furnished and decorated with a delicate eye for details. And the team and owners have a high personal interest in their guests and are very nice to relate to. The owners can give extensive advice about the possibilities in the region and have a good network of guides and other operators.
Highly recommended as a location to get away from it all.

Hello Ross, we are 15 mnutes away from the airport by car and 20 minutes walk from the main bus stop (Maputo buses). If you stay with us we'll come and pick you up either at the airport or at the bus station (as long as you get here in between 7am and 8pm) or will send you a taxi.
