Wow! This was our last stop on our honeymoon and it was just the perfect ending for us. We stayed for 3 nights in the Santa Carolina room. This suite was so spacious, beautifully decorated, but the real winner was the absolutely incredible view!
Santorini has only a few rooms so it feels very intimate. Our server/butler Fernando was great, he made sure we had every little thing we needed. Each meal is set up at a different location on the property and the food is incredible and beautifully presented. During the day there is a wonderful pool to enjoy and down a few stairs is the beach. The low tide in vilanculos makes for some interesting scenery as the water is very shallow. Part of your package with your stay is a private boat tour where you visit an island and go snorkeling along with an island picnic. Great experience!
It was a very relaxing experience and I could stare at the bright blue water all day . Thank you Santorini for creating a very special stay for us. They even set up a private dinner for us on our last night.
Thank you to Sonnet, the manager, for being so helpful!

Just walking in to the Lodge feels calm, cool and clean. And the view is perfect
All the staff are very caring, chatty and provide for one's every need
Our bedroom was huge, and had the most amazing view out over the ocean
Thank goodness for the air-conditioning as it is very hot in the summer, despite the sea breeze. They are obviously diligent about mosquito spraying, as we didn't find any buzzing in the night in our room
Enjoyed walking around the property to see the veg garden, and new orchard
Highlight was a trip in the lodge's catamaran to Paradise Island - please do book that trip

We happened across a Pentravel special to Santorini by accident, and decided to book it since we'd never been to Mozambique.
What an amazing boutique lodge! First of all, the service is first class, and the rooms, facilities, and the food were also excellent. We liked the 'home' layout of the lodge, with the communal kitchen where you can socialise with the other guests.
Our host Sergio went out of his way to make this a truly special holiday for us - every night dinner was set up in a different spot, and the food was just superb, especially the fish and seafood.
The snorkelling excursion to the islands was also a highlight, and we really enjoyed being out on the sea.
We will definitely visit again!

We stayed in the Chapel (family of 4) and were extremely impressed with its setup and location. Absolutely beautiful. One of the first lodges where the pictures on the website don't do it justice. The staff were very friendly and obliging, particularly the staff at the beach who were great with the children.
There were a few issues though, which are not acceptable for an upmarket lodge like this.
The rates at the Chapel are much higher than the main lodge. We were advised at the time of booking that we couldn't book at the main lodge as children under 12 years old were not allowed to stay there unless the lodge was booked on an exclusive use basis. On our first day though, we found that there was a family staying at the main lodge with a child under 12 (not booked on an exclusive basis). This was naturally a sore point for us and management's response to us was not adequate.
We had an issue with housekeeping arriving very late on one of our days there, thus infringing on our privacy/ relaxation time. We alerted management to this and was advised that this would be addressed. It was not. On our checkout day, housekeeping was in the villa turning the room over well before checkout time, infringing on our privacy and relaxation time again.
For roughly a day and night we did not have bottled water in our villa. I am not sure how an upmarket lodge like this runs out of bottled water in the middle of December.
Overall, we did not feel that this lodge lived up to expectations due to its selective application of its child policy and lack of management oversight on day to day running issues that we should not have encountered.

Thank you for taking the time provide feedback on your recent stay with us. We are sorry to read of the issues you experienced. Housekeeping are scheduled to service the private villas during guests' breakfast ,to not infringe on privacy, and all drinks are usually stocked in the morning into the private bar along with bottled water and large glass bottles that we fill from our reverse osmosis machine. Your comments have been taken to heart and we will make sure this standard practice is always enforced. We do have our child policy in place to allow families to enjoy the private villas spaces better suited to younger families, whereas families with older children and couples can enjoy the shared spaces of our main villa offers. We had accepted the booking in the main villa with the child who was very close approaching his 12th Birthday and unfortunately, we are unable to make these exceptions for younger children. We do hope to be able to welcome you and your family back to the Villa in future. Regards Santorini Management

The attention to detail and personal service is of the highest quality. The rooms decor is stunning. The gardens and all the swimming pools are beautifully kept. The cloths you get when you come off the beach as well as the mojitos are such a special touch. A huge thank you to Sonette, Pedro, Alberto, Akasia, Paulino, Thomas, Abel, Ignacio, and all the friendly staff. This is a boutique hotel with fantastic food and rooms. We stayed in Santa Carolina and it was massive. The beds and linen so comfortable. The wifi is good. The cute pictures on the butter always entertaining! Diving at the reef at Bazaruto was another hilight. The visit to Magarouke Island was so special as well. And to top it off we saw a DUGONG! And of course the sightings of dolphins are always magical. The free slipslops and cute bottle of beach sand such special touches! Oh and the spa was fabulous too! The laundry is complimentary! All rooms have sea views! In your room is a beach bag, sarongs and gowns for use whilst at the lodge.
I cannot rave about Santorini enough!

Such a magical place!
We spent a week there during christmas and it was definitely one of our best holidays.
The hotel has a beautiful architecture and decorated with incredible taste.
Some of us stayed at the Chapel Villa and some stayed in rooms at the main building (we were a group of 3 adults and 4 teenagers).
The service was outstanding with our own Buttler (Sergio) who took care of all our needs. He made us feel as the only guests in the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was so kind and attentive.
The food was delicious and they were ready to accommodate to any request.
The beach is truly private and absolutely stunning. Pristine and untouched.
The hotel organised an island trip for us and we enjoyed a little picnic on a secluded beach under a gazebo that was set up just for us, it was incredible.
I have no words to express our gratitude to the team.
We will definitely be returning!

This place was our last stay on our honeymoon trip, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to relax.
Starting with the super nice and warm welcome in this spectacular hotel which straight away sends you to paraide, with a refreshing super delicious cocktail. The hotel managers straight away greeted us and showed us around the whole premises, which are everything you need, a beautiful refreshing pool, a second a little smaler infinity pool overseeing the beach, a beautiful common area and then obviously the super nice and spacious rooms. Ours had an amazing big terrace with a big bath and outdoor shower (super romantic!).
In general the whole villa with the rooms is so beautifully and tastefully decorated in a greec style with the Mozambique touch.
Everyone is so attentive and they are even reading your mind fulfilling any of your wishes before you even said them. We had such an amazing waiter (Pedro), who remembered everything we asked him on previous days, making our days so special and amazing without even having to ask for some things anymore cause he remembered from the days before.
Sonette and Hose (the managers of the hotel), were simply amazing in arranging some activities for us, such as horse riding to a fishermans village, beach picnics and the highlight, a boat trip day, with snorkling and lunch on an island where we were completely alone.
The whole stay was so amazing and spectacular, we can only recommend everyone to first go to Vilankulos (in Mozambique), cause the people there are so nice, and the beaches and little islands are spectacular. And if you come to Vilankulos, then definitely chose Santorini Mozambique, if you want to have the most amazing stay with the greates people taken great care of you!

Santorini Mozambique is truly Heaven on Earth!
We enjoyed 4 days at this magical place, and can't wait to come back!
The hotel was incredibly accommodating of our vegan dietary needs, and prepared some of the best food we've ever had! One of our favorite meals was set in the hotel vegetable garden, which was truly a serene and beautiful experience.
The rooms are STUNNING and the view from the Santa Carolina suite is one I'll never forget. The upkeep is consistent, and so your room is always fresh! The staff are all incredible, and Sergio truly made sure we had a special time with his attentiveness and care.
Also, the decor is INCREDIBLE. We made multiple purchases after seeing items at the hotel - they could truly sell home decor in the gift shop.
Finally, the spa is heavenly. I had the Santorini Special and I would 1000% recommend it. Such a perfect blend of massage, facial, and serenity.
Santorini Mozambique is truly out of this world!

Dear Lucy,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for our exceptional stay in this slice of heaven!!! This place is absolutely wonderful. From the time we got off the plane, greeted and transferred by your staff at the airport, we knew we were going to have a magical time. You, Alberto, and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were pampered at a friend's spectacular home. It felt like we were the only ones at an exclusive resort. The added little touches such as the different vistas for meals, the included hand/foot massage, & morning drinks with butter cookies (all before breakfast!), the communal homemade ice cream freezer, and ringing the big bell at the end of our stay were special to us. We certainly ate very well at every meal. And of course, the boat cruises to the archipelago were second to none. I have never seen such pristine beaches and waters and pink flamingos in the numbers we saw. As you know, we had been traveling for some time; coming to Santorini Mozambique was certainly relaxing & re-energizing. In addition, please also thank Christi for guiding me through the independent booking process; it was like having my own friendly travel agent. I would tell anyone, do not feel timid to book this exceptional resort through your website. If I could, I would give 10 stars! We will be back.
Best Regards, Marian and Henry C. & friends

My husband and I stayed 3 nights to end our honeymoon. the perfect way to end the trip! The views of the ocean are some of the best we have ever seen (and we are definitely beach connoisseur’s). The local fisherman have small wooden boats that sit on the water and look like a painting. The Chapel private villa was the nicest place we have probably ever stayed. We had a Butler, Abel who was available for anything we would have ever needed. They served us all meals in the villa. They would set up elaborate dinner settings (like lighting all these lanterns around the pool to set the mood). Our favorite thing from Santorini was our day trip our to the coral reef to snorkel. We went in a 38 ft boat about an hour out into the ocean with massive waves to this reef. Thanks goodness for George (2nd mate) getting into the water with us or I probably wouldn’t have. It was incredible. They then took us to private islands and made us a private lunch on the boat. This was one of the most relaxed and personalized places to wrap up an incredible two week honeymoon. The details along the way and personal touches (like a wrapped picture frame made from the boats with our wedding photo inside) made is the most special trip for us.
