Stayed for one night. Accommodation quite basic but adequate. Dinner and Service very good. Breakfast also good variety of food. Excellent design of Hotel and property. Some Rock paintings on site. Game drives for game including dessert elephants take place in the evening for four hours.

This is a place you need to see to believe. Lovely hotel built in the rocks and keeping it as natural as possible. If you don't mind the heat, it's a wonderful place to unwind and relax. The people are friendly and the food is delicious and you will never go hungry. We came here as part of a Namibian...

The lodge's main selling point is its location. It's not only near the rock carvings but the whole setting is beautiful with nothing but empty space around for miles. This does feel like it's in the middle of nowhere, in a good way. Even the wifi works at least in the bar/ restaurant area which was a pleasant surprise. The...

Just had a bad experience at Twyfelfontein country Lodge because during an organized tour for elephants the car of the lodge had 2 flat tyres (6pm) We were only 1 hour far away from the lodge but they rescued us after 3 hours. The mobile phone of the driver was broken and there was no coverage of network to call...

Very beautiful drive through spectacular landscapes to reach this remote lodge, which upon arrival turned out to be integrated in the surroundings in an interesting way. Quick and efficient check-in, however quite long walk from reception/restaurant area to room. The rooms were fine, but smaller than anticipated, leaving not much space for two large suitcases. Had some problems with lights...

During our 2weeks trip in Namibia this place was by far the worst experience we had. The food in this lodge is not fresh, leftovers being used agian for the next buffet meal. The food is the worst of all hotels we visited, only buffet meals without any taste or specialty. The staff we met here was despite the rest of...

It's a difficult and dusty drive to get to Twyfelfontein, but the rock engravings are very special. Rooms were a bit small with no fridge or coffee making and less luxurious than expected for the price, but all rooms have a great view onto the plain with wildebeest roaming a couple of hundred metres away. They also came to the...

very very bad service, but amazing place, probably the worst stay in Namibia which is a pity as Twyfelfontein is a Unesco recognised site and this lodge could be wonderful. Birds are pooing in the pool. No service at the bar or restaurant and not much choice of food. It is a pity for the setting is stunning.

We thought the owners relied on the location. The staff although friendly showed no sign of any training or supervision. The servicing of the bedroom was skimped. We ordered drinks with ice at the bar. There was no ice, so we took our drinks to a table to wait. We saw the ice brought up the stairs to the bar...

Great place to look at but suffers from sloppy maintenance & frustratingly poor design in the rooms. Poor lighting in the rooms, wobbly tree trunks as bedside tables on the outside of the mosquito net being just a couple of examples. A dirty soggy bathmat in our room was horrible. The staff are friendly & willing but I think lack...
