The main lodge at Twyfelfontein is imbedded in a rock face and it looks fantastic. The bar area overlooks a very small and quite dirty looking pool but, otherwise, the views are superb. The same cannot be said of the bedrooms however. Twyfelfontein is a very hot location. There is no AC in the rooms and the overhead fan barely...

This hotel is in a truly stunning setting and from afar looks like a very exclusive and expensive place. It has a lot of potential but the rooms are in desperate need of updates. There is no A/C, which is not abnormal in Namibia, but the ceiling and floor fans could not do anything but circulate hot air. I spent...

Friendly welcome at the lodge. The rooms urgently need renovation. Most dissapointing was the food, the staff helped themselves with the best pieces of meat before all guests were served, we ended then up with a very dry lamb roast. Breakfast was ok.

The lodge is set back built into the rock face. It's stunning! From afar it looks like it could be paradise.... But alas, no. The rooms were very basic with no airflow, no fan, no air con - made for a very uncomfortable stay in 35degree heat! We had no hot water, nor electrical power in the rooms. The food...

i stayed one night here..the setting is a dream..the room was fine... there is a pool with a waterfall that is lovely to look at but the pool was not very clean... the staff was very gracious.. my biggest problem was the unfriendly guests... so cold ..i felt i was in a; silent movie..

For those who have visited Sedona, Arizona to see the beautiful red rocks.....it's even better here!! Just an awesome view deserving of many photos and this hotel is structured to fit into the environment. Beautiful lodge....gourmet food.....singing staff......and a true feeling of Damaraland!!

The lodge is located in a very picturesque setting. The rooms are quite basic albeit quite clean and reasonably well presented but are located a reasonable walk from the reception/dining/bar area. The evening tour was a bit of a non event with plenty of other tours in the country offering more. The meals were very good with great service with...

This is a lovely lodge in the wilds of Namibia. It is nestled in amongst the rocks. It has it's own rock art area, which is fascinating and although I didn't use it, the pool looked most attractive. I visited as part of a Titan tour. The restaurant is in a lovely setting and we very much enjoyed the impromptu...

This lodge is located in a beautiful natural area, it is surrounded by red colored mountains and nestled right along them. The views are beautiful. This said, I gave it a 4 rating because unfortunately, the rooms didn't have air conditioning and it was very very hot, despite the ceiling fan. There is no cross circulation in the room, so...

This is a beautiful place for a lodge, built into the hillside, with an entrance walkway through rocks and 5,000 year old rock carvings in the grounds. The chalet was comfortably, if simply equipped, with ceiling fan and a freestanding one, too. The pool was a great relief on a very humid day, although the bottom of it was a little...
