Rooms are in a private colonial home facing a neat garden with fountain. If it's quiet you seek, this is it, just 4 blks. from city center. Walk everywhere. No services like breakfas. Wifi is very good, rooms are clean and mattress and sheets very comfortable. Gema, the owner, is a sweet lady who will make you feel welcome during...

Gema is a gem of a soul who makes your stay worthwhile. Great value for money and a quiet location makes this one of my top picks in Queretaro. The rooms are spotless and the garden in the backyard is a perfect spot for some happy chills. If you're looking for a quiet getaway and a goodnight's sleep, this place...

We stayed with Gema Vargas six years ago and really enjoyed the opportunity to stay in a private home so we lined it up again but this time for three of us. We had the same double bed we had before and my wife's sister stayed in an adjoining room that had two single beds. It was very clean and...

Gema's house was the perfect place for us to stay for our 4 nights in Querétaro . It is in an imposing old, but significantly updated, building in the colonial center of the city, just four blocks from the very bustling plazas surrounded by restaurants and shops. Despite its proximity to so much going on, the street is very quiet....

Gema's House was a great place to stay close to the center of Querétaro. I chose it because of the positive reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. I was lucky enough to get a room there because owner Gema has many long term guests due to her inexpensive rates. She rents two single and two double rooms. The single...

I agree with the two earlier reviews. This is really a hidden gem and a great value! I stayed for 9 nights in a nice room with private bath. Not overly spacious but large enough, clean and comfortable with daily maid service and free wifi. I have rated it 5 stars not because it competes with luxury hotels but compared...

We found Gema's place on Trip Advisor but it had only one review. Then I found her own website which made it easy to decide to stay there. We contacted her by e-mail and we only had to confirm that we were coming for our four day stay. No credit card info or money down were needed. She has two...

I stayed at Gema's House for 3 nights in Feb '09 and found it to be a real bargain for the solo traveler. Basically, Gema is the owner of a very large home, about a ten minute walk from the city center of Queretaro, Mexico. Gema is a very nice woman to deal with, although her English is very limited,...
