+ The hotel staff at the front desk has spoken fluent English. Room was clean and pretty big. When we arrived there was a basket with towels, water etc. in the room which was a nice welcome. The location of the hotel is nice, close to the main square. - the wi-fi wasn´t working in the room at all, I had... This hotel is located on a pedestrianized street, central to the historic sights. The hotel was a character colonial design with rooms located around central courtyards. Our room was large with a window that opened onto a courtyard below where guests congregated to socialize. The room was well-appointed with a safe, iron and board, and flat-screen TV. The sink was... Loved the location and nearby restaurants. A short walk to the jardin in the historic area of town. Staff, helpful and pleasant. There was an annoying noise that we guessed was the water heater that seemed to be audible in most rooms furthest from the front desk. (our friends were in other rooms) Rates were very good. Restaurant also fine.

We stayed one night while passing through Queretaro and I was disappointed. I was with my grandma and the room they gave us was in the very back of the house and to get there we had to walk through a terrace that was DARK. I actually felt unsafe going up to our room. When we got there we actually... More

Very nice, clean hotel depending on your room. Some do not have much of a view. Had room right over restaurant that stayed open late but noise bearable. Only oproblem, they don't tell you that you have to leave your key at the front desk if you want your room cleaned. Lots hot water.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Rio Queretaro and we have nothing but nice things to say about our stay. The staff was very nice, the rooms were large and extremely clean. Very friendly staff, room small but very well maintained and excellent rates. A/c, wifi, hairdryer, fan, and a great shower. Closeby many restaurants and coffeebars, European-like alley with lots of places. Everything is walking distance. Will be back.
