This is our second stay at this time of the year. We stayed in Poplar this year. We grab up their deal for stay two nights get one free, which is after Columbus Day. The only downfall to this time of the year is most tourist attractions and shops in the areas are no longer open. But don't let that... More

I stayed at The Chestnut, which is right on the lake, in late September. My plan was to relax, climb some challenging mountains, hike some easier trails, read some good books, and enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks in the Fall. I did all of that and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hearing a loon in the morning was fantastic! Watching... More

We had the pleasure of staying in the Apple Cabin at Camp Driftwood the weekend of March 11-13, 2016. Even though it was off season, Jon and Brenda made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We got there early enough for a late Friday afternoon hike (Watch Hill), which Jon suggested and was spot on! We... More

We had a great time! We stayed in Apple. The cabins are cozy, clean, simple, and comfortable. Great view, private, centrally located for lots of hiking and kayaking! Can't wait to go back this summer for a longer stay. So many hikes so little time.

Having spent my childhood summers camping at Indian Lake, often with my cousin and my Aunt, my husband and I flew to Syracuse to take my cousin and my 90 year old Aunt for an overnight in Indian Lake. My Aunt's fondest memory was the campfires and we knew she would be so happy to sit in front of a... More

The camp is nestled in the woods away from the road. I instantly felt this peaceful and welcoming feeling. My husband, son, and I were greeted by the owner and she gave us a quick tour and told us to let her know if we needed anything, I greatly appreciated that. Our cabin was the first one on the left "The... More

What a pleasant surprise at such a great price! Upon very later arrival, we found the porch light on to welcome us. A stone path let us past our personal fire pit to the first outter porch, then the screen porch and finally into the glowing floor to ceiling knotty pine cabin. Beautiful, cozy. We sleep like logs on the... More

We had a very pleasant week at Camp Driftwood. My only complaint is that our cabin was not directly on the water. We had about a 5 minute walk to the water/docks. There are plenty of kayaks and canoes for all the guests, which made for some great daily paddling! Indian Lake is quite large with plenty of beautiful areas... More

This was a perfect place to take my 2 teenagers and 2 of their friends. I have done a lot of camping in various conditions and didn't want to do that with other peoples kids yet. This wasn't camping- this was house renting! We stayed in Apple- not directly on the water but with a view of the lake. 3BR... More
