Nothing fancy, but clean and cheap. It served its purpose. My only real complaint was the steam heaters sounded like a dragon invasion throughout the night. I will say however, that it was not too loud and all in all its a decent little motel.

Very shady cancellation policy which differs from other motels/hotels. Basically the deadline for canceling a room varies with their whim and can change at any time. If you use a third party travel agency/booking service the fine print becomes even smaller or vanishes altogether. If you expect the usual 24 hour cancellation grace period be very careful as you might...

Wow...this accommodation is a sad excuse for even a budget motel. Stayed here one night in August, while moving my son to Cornell University. There were three of us in the room. It was a last minute reservation through another online booking site. Initially, we thought it would be fine, however, once in the room, we saw sad and tired...

I couldn't find a room for under $250/nite in Ithaca two weeks ago so I was a little nervous when this motel was available for $120. I was desperate to visit my kid in Ithaca college so I did. Glad I did! Rooms are spacious along with a kitchenette which is so useful when traveling with a toddler. Number one...

This is an old-school hotel circa 1990: basic accommodation in clean, reasonably well maintained rooms. The tv was old but the WiFi was good. The room was small but the housekeeping was fine. The worst element was the noisy air conditioning/heat unit. The location is good, a quiet spot about two miles from the Cornell campus and ten minutes drive...

Small rooms but confortable bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast is included, and good internet connection. Receptionist very friendly and guide us around the area. Plantation bar is the nearest Pub from Hotel (1 mile) . Prices for room are cheaper comparing with others around.

This motel is a few miles outside of downtown Ithaca, but worth the trek for the value. The rooms were among the cleanest and freshest I've experienced--with comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms, and the check-in and check-out experience was very pleasant. The young woman at the desk gave good recommendations about where to eat as well. The Internet and cable...

I hate working in Ithaca the traffic is awful and you cannot get a good room for the price. This is an old motor lodge that has been updated. The place is clean but really small. The internet was strong and bed was fine. Breakfast was what you expected. This is the only salesman friendly price in the area unless...

The previous reviews nicely sum up the Embassy Inn Motel. It's a very basic but clean and comfortable family motel that is well run and convenient to Cornell's campus. It's particularly close to the Cornell Plantations and North Campus. It will also be one of the least expensive options when staying in Ithaca (although it's relatively pricey for what you...

This motel is not near any major attractions or on major interstates, so the rates are reasonable even in summer. We were stopping just overnight, arriving late and leaving early, so all we wanted was a comfortable and clean room, and the Embassy Inn was this exactly. The staff were friendly both when we checked in and when we left...
