I was in the Cornell University in June 2015, i decided to book my hotel room on campus so that i can actually substantiate the value of the course that i came to study, i was not disappointed at all, the reception staff are truly professional, the two guys that took me to the airport portray a very good customer... We were hesitant about paying more to stay at the Statler than less expensive options in Ithaca, when touring Cornell. We decided to splurge and were so glad we did. The room was far nicer than expected and the atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing. All the staff, student and professional, were outstanding. The breakfasts, which offered both a... More

The Statler on the Cornell University campus is a world class hotel in every respect. The guest rooms and overall decor of the hotel are elegant, warm and attractive. The staff is welcoming, efficient, helpful and friendly. We had two high-end rooms: a Tower Suite (for our bride and groom) and a room with a view for the parents of... More

Best staff we ever encountered at any hotel - happy to help, anticipate needs in advance, available immediately, all staff at front desk, bell hop/valet, and all others were all magnificent. We had our walking baby with us, so we had a lot more needs and questions than folks traveling without young children and the staff was extraordinarily good about... More

The valet service was great upon arrival, the reception at check in for 2 nights was friendly except the surprise of the $ 12.00 per day for parking, especially when the 2 nights charge was $799.97 USD! This was not mentioned when I made the electronic reservation. The room (722) on the 9th floor was very nice, clean with a... More

I was part of a training group last week in Cornell and stayed at The Statler, and what I can say is that it is a good hotel served mostly by Cornell Hotel School trainings. Good attitude from all of them, starting with the amazing bell boys goup, the the front desk ladies are helpfull, and then two opposite facts:... More

This facility is part of Cornell's renowned Hotel School, the most prestigious in the world. We were a little disappointed it was not more lavish and had a better restaurant. Nevertheless, it is very convenient when visiting this elite Ivy League institution and has all of the basic amenities.

We stayed at the Statler while touring Cornell. The hotel is located right on the campus. It is run by the university's school of hotel administration and students try their best to accommodate the guests. Rooms are large (suite-like) and very well appointed. Pricey, but if you are willing to pay the price, you will have a very enjoyable night.

Lucky us that we could snag and afford a stay at the Statler Hotel, the only one on the grounds of the vast Cornell University campus, Ithaca, NY and run so expertly probably with at least some of the staff from the school's renowned Hotel Administration School. Our visit was in the summer--not a busy time for the University, but... More

If your reason for being in Ithaca is to visit the Cornell campus this is the place to be. Right in the middle of it all and the entire campus is walkable. Word to those not experienced with Cornell: everything is a hike and cars are not welcome. If you want to leave campus a car is required - though... More
