3 years ago we had the wedding of our dreams here, and Jedediah Hawkins Inn continues to be our perfect romantic escape! The food is absolutely delicious, and truly some of the best that Long Island has to offer. There is no better ambiance for dinner than this charming inn and its beautiful landscape. The staff is amazing, especially Colin...

We only had dinner. did not stay at hotel. The property struck me as a beautiful and large estate had a nice relaxing vibe. upscale, but not pretentious. i felt comfortable in a collared shirt and shorts. we were seated in the glassed in 3 season room. nice ambience, sort of like a restoration hardware showroom. food and service was...

pros: 1st time: Food was great, drinks from bartender always "extra" good, service was good, atmosphere was incredible, a mushroom soup so good I want to go back just for that, the ambiance of the lush landscape and the cozy comfort of the sofa seating in the sunroom makes me want to go back again and again. Cons: Duck was...

Stayed one night, and had dinner on the outdoor terrace. Excellent experience, but i would sit indoors next time (buggy outside). Room was beautiful, with a very nice bathroom. We love riding the bikes the Inn provides for a quick tour of the area and local beach. Wonderful place for a night or two. Very close to many vineyards.

We stayed 4 nights here, checked in at the " reception ", that name is not really warranted, as it is hardly ever manned by anyone, no minibar in room, no roomservice, and no telephone !! so if you want to call for anything, you have to use your mobile, which is a bit heavy for us as we are...

The blackboard special--monkfish with fennel pollen over ratatouille--was delicious, though a bit sophisticated for teen boys. The inventive tuna starter included rice cakes, seaweed, and avocado, and was a hit all around. They made a bucatini version with seared tuna instead of chicken sausage for us, and that was also universally well-liked. The salmon tartare starter was unfortunately weak, with...

I am almost embarrassed to post this review, but it has been on my mind to do it since I left, so here it goes. Some friends were getting together in the Hamptons for a long weekend. Although our main gathering place was going to be in Southhampton, my husband found a hotel on the North Fork in Jamesport. Initially,...

Our short stay at the Jedediah Hawkins Inn was wonderful. The grounds are stunning, peaceful and beautifully maintained. The Inn itself is gorgeous - old world charm, with modern updates, not the least bit stuffy. We stayed in the Belvediere Suite which was a 3 level "room" a the top of the house, including our own private observation room (widow's...

The stunningly beautiful setting, the amazing inn accommodations, the farm-to-table menu choices/the chef’s talent, the ever-accommodating inn manager Colin, and most of all the “no worries” venue event planner Katie -- everything combined to make our wedding just as we imagined it could be! From the very beginning to the last minute of the wedding day, event planner Katie helped...

Jedediah Hawkins Inn & Restaurant was so lovely. If you are looking for a place that looks new inside with fake old furnishings, this is not the place. Jedediah Hawkins Inn is very original. The grounds are beautiful to walk around or sit. We stayed in the Belvediere Suite which was the top of the house. It was a very...
