I had a very enjoyable stay at the Doubletree in Downtown, New York. Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted by the very friendly and professional front desk staff. Check-in was quick and hassle free. My king room was very clean and well attended. The bed was well made and very comfortable, allowing for a very restful night’s sleep. Keep in mind that this is a downtown hotel, and there was a small amount of street noise, mostly from a passing EMS Vehicle and a couple of vehicles with very loud exhausts. Other than that street noise was Not an issue. The Wi-Fi was strong, consistent and worked well throughout my entire stay. When I made my reservation, I opted to include the cost of breakfast which was well worth the additional upcharge. Breakfast was served buffet style and consisted of Eggs, a variety of meet, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The food was hot and very tasty. Jamestown is a very walkable city, and this hotel is located right downtown and is just a couple of Block from the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Museum and only about 4 or 5 blocks from the National Comedy Center. You have the option of booking your tickets at a slightly reduced rate to both when making your reservation. I was able to leave my car parked and walk to both. There is a restaurant on site, and I chose to have my evening meal there and just have it billed to my room. The food was well prepared and very good. All an all I enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree in Downtown Jamestown. Every staff member that I encountered were very polite, friendly, and Professional. I will stay here again if I find myself in the Jamestown Area.

Lovely Hotel.
Best hotel pool. Ever!
PERFECT temperature inside the room and inside the pool. Only wish there had been more towels.
AMAZING pool hours. 6am-11pm. GREAT for kids!
A smooth pool bottom so no stubbed toes.
No hot tub, but no problem.
No complimentary breakfast, but a buffet for $15 a person. With a family of 5, we did not eat at the hotel.
The coffee in the room was delicious!
HUGE, THICK towels.
Nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps on the shower wall.
LOVELY pillows, soft beds and a nice cool temperature upon entering.
VERY limited parking, but free street parking and free parking garage parking on the weekends. VERY SKETCHY tunnel that connects the parking garage to the hotel. Cobwebs, spiders, broken up concrete and a very weird smell.
The parking situation is not enough to keep us away. If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

This hotel is awesome! The city views with the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms ( and the windows are so clean you feel like you are outside) are wonderful. The pool is open from 6 am to 11 pm and it’s so clean. The food at restaurant is delicious. Free parking. Free coffee in lobby all the time. It’s just a great place to. Rooms are remodeled. Beds are comfy. Huge TVs in rooms. One of the cleanest, modern, in the Hilton group. This hotel still has old charm as years ago . Elevators are quick. Julia and Amber at the front desk are wonderful.

Hotel is nice. In walking distance to Lucy-Desi Museum and National Comedy Center. Parking lot is very small, but parking is available at the Nextdoor parking garage at no cost; you just have to get a voucher from the front desk. Water pressure in the room was very poor unless the shower head was on the massaging feature. Room was large and very comfortable.

The Double Tree Hilton Jamestown has clean rooms and common areas. I visited the on-site restaurant for continental breakfast and selections were fresh and/or freshly made. I visited the fitness center and happy there was elliptical machine as well as treadmills and bikes. The beds and pillows are comfy. The property seems to be well-managed. Thank you.

When traveling and staying at Hiltons you get accustomed to their style of taking care of you.
We look forward to the hot coffee and cookies at check in. Coffee costs $1. Signs about cookies but no evidence of any.
Breakfast being included is another perk, but it is $15 here.
Being a Hilton Honors Member, we usually get a bottle of water at check in. There is water in our room, but afraid we will be charged for it.
If you have a feather allergy, call them before you reserve ad they have feathers in all the rooms and not many non feather pillows or comforters. The ones they have are old and thin.
They do have Evelyn Crabtree toiletries but not the small bottles.
We look forward to the hot coffee and cookies at check in. Coffee costs $1. Signs about cookies but no evidence of any.

Thank you for sharing this review. It seems as if your honors benefits were not explained at arrival as should have happened. You DEFINATELY should have received a Warm Chocolate Chip cookie at arrival. Sorry for that! We do offer a dining credit like all DoubleTree properties to counteract the breakfast charge. Water in the rooms in Complimentary in the room for honors member and has a tag stating that. We do appreciate our honors members, and try to do what we can to live that every day. We will speak with our management team and staff about making sure we handle situations like this property the first time. We hope you'll stop by again soon when you're in the neighborhood and give us a second chance! Thanks!

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. We booked this based on price, reviews, and close proximity to the Comedy Museum that we were going to. From the outside this hotel looks very rundown but it is surprisingly modern inside. We had an okay stay but it could have been better. On the positive side, the lobby restaurant (Pearl City Hops) had a decent selection of food and it was tasty. Also, parking is free and plentiful. But there were more negatives in our stay than positives. And we didn't bother telling anyone at the hotel about our concerns because when we found the front desk staff to not be very helpful overall, and the one time I spoke to the hotel manager he was not helpful at all. So the negatives - the pillows are flat as pancakes, the mattress was hard as a rock, the shower water pressure is non existent and the water runs like a small stream/trickle. They give you complimentary cookies on arrival but they have walnuts - with the number of allergies these days not a wise decision. The room itself was decent but it was quite humid. The toilet paper in the bathroom is one ply and is like sandpaper. The breakfast buffet is included and was decent with hot and cold food. But the only tea they have is standard orange pekoe and when I asked for green tea the waitress looked completely confused. Similarly when we had dinner there and we asked the waitress to explain what a menu item was she couldn't explain. When we asked the front desk staff for a dinner recommendation she was stumped. When we asked the front desk staff another day the man told us that he is the hotel manager and would recommend we eat at the hotel. I told him we already ate at the hotel and could he recommend somewhere else. He couldn't. We found that to be rude. If you are in Jamestown for a short stay this hotel is fine but if you are looking for a more upscale experience this isn't the place.

You walk into your room at The Four Seasons, and it's pure luxury. The bed is huge and super comfy, with soft linens that feel like a cloud. There's a cozy sitting area with a plush couch and a big-screen TV. The bathroom is like a spa, with a deep soaking tub, a rainfall shower, and fancy toiletries. Plus, there's a balcony with a killer view where you can sip your morning coffee. It's the perfect place to unwind and feel pampered!

This is a great option in the city. The hotel has an indoor pool which is great for families. There is a buffet breakfast for 15 dollars and kids under five eat free. The rooms are nice and clean. Staff is very friendly! Check in can take a bit because of having less people working the front, but overall the staff is very responsive once you are checking in.
Rooms are clean and have a mini fridge. A great weekend stay.

I am involved with the Jamestown Tarp Skunks and I rushed here yesterday from Buffalo for their home opener. I love this hotel because it is a Hamister Group Hotel and I admired the late Mark Hamister.
What impressed me about my stay was the quality of the bed. It may sound odd but I came in here totally exhausted. After attending the baseball game I came back to my room and totally crashed. I had the best night's sleep I had in ages. Ryder, the front desk clerk, totally disappointed me when I asked him if he could sell me the mattress and pillow. He did, however, say he could check with management to see if they could provide me with the vendor for those items. That would be awesome.
Your pool and fitness room are the perfect size for a business traveler and I love that you had so many towels and a water fountain with room to fill my bottles.
The room was quite spacious and you solved the never ending issue of water splashing on the floor from the shower with your curved shower rack.
The power outlets and ports for phone and laptop charging worked perfectly as did the size of the desk. The issue I had with the desk is that the wall air conditing unit was right next to it and was blowing cold air right at me forcing me to shut it off until it got to hot and then i would turn it on again.
Overall, A plus, plus. Great job and I cannot wait to come back for another Tarp Skunks game.
From a staff standpoint, the young lady who checked me, was quite polite and informative. The evening clerk, Ryder, was like Ellsworth Hilton himself. He was the epitome of customer and for an overnight desk clerk, that is odd to find. He is a rock star who is probably not noticed because of the shift he works. I know good customer service when I see it and he has it.
