I love the setting and style of this old mansion turned into a B&B and we stay here almost once a year. The only thing that keeps me from rating it 5 star is the room we stayed in this time had caterpillars and the blinds are the cheapest plastic Walmart stock item you could get. A lovely old and...

We had a wonderful experience at The Oaks. The room was immaculate, with lots of space. The whole place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Richard and Joe were very accommodating and friendly during our whole stay. The breakfasts we had were AMAZING! Fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits every morning, along with a different pastry each day. The main course...

What a beautiful B&B/Hotel on a peaceful, tree lined street in the heart of Jamestown! Architecture of the building is a sight to behold. Furniture and appointments (many antiques) throughout the common areas, as well as in the guest rooms, are magnificent. The Green Room, which included a sitting area by a fireplace, was perfect for our six night stay...

My family and I reserved four rooms at the Oaks, each room was exceptional. The owners and staff were beyond amazing and your comfort was their top priority! The gourmet breakfasts were lovingly prepared and were absolutely delicious. We have stayed at five star luxury hotels and I can honestly say I prefer the Oaks to these hotels; in fact,...

My husband and I booked the Belvedere room at the Oaks because we were hoping for a unique place to stay on our way to Chautauqua Lake. We loved the details and situation of the room. It had a unique door frame between the sitting room and the bedroom and beautiful painted wooden beams on the ceiling of the bedroom....

We made reservations for a room with a king bed on Monday night, however we arrived a day early. They were happy to provide us with the only vacancy they had, which was a room with twin beds and a private bath. It was very clean & cozy. Breakfast was exquisite & plentiful. Our second night we were in the...

My husband found The Oaks on Trip Advisor and called for a last minute reservation. We stayed in the Rose room with a king bed and the master bath across the hall. The room is spacious, with a sitting area. The master bath has a tub and shower as well as character. The tile is beautiful. Breakfast was served in...

Went to Jamestown, NY to visit the Lucy & Desi Museum and stayed overnight at The Oaks. Richard, the owner was charming and made such a fabulous breakfast, starting with fruit & granola, blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, danish and beautiful strawberries. We stayed in a king suite on the first floor. The bed was so comfortable and the house was...
