We were attending our daughter's graduation at SUNY Fredonia, which is about 20 miles away. Since there is limited options right in Fredonia, we opted to stay here in Jamestown instead. Boy, are we glad we did! Convenient location, just off I-86, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, facility was very clean, room was large and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with lots of options as well as a roomy area in which to dine. The full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower is a great idea. Who needs all of those dinky sample sizes? We would definitely stay here again!

Overnight stay was very comfortable with socially distanced interactions.
Rooms modern style was nice for placing suitcases and other items within reach. Comfy beds with very soft sheets and pillows. Shower had spa-type head and multi-use dispensers of Watkins shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
Pleasant surprise in the morning with an attendant offering to serve breakfast selections, including fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelet, turkey sausage patty, links and standard to go bag with granola bar and fruit. (She mentioned the Hampton Inn next door still only offers bag breakfasts due to Covid-19).

Special compliment to our breakfast hostess who was very friendly and helpful. Very nice to have a fresh, simple “hot” hotel breakfast before starting our long drive today.

Employees wore masks, while guests were a mix of masked and no masks. Truthfully it is easy to forget to don a mask when running for a cup of hot coffee from your room.
Will stay here again when in the area. Appreciate the handicap parking near multiple entrances so could park at end of hotel, enter side entrance and have short walk to room.

I stayed here for 2 nights in August, 2022 with my mother to explore Jamestown as we are both fans of Lucille Ball, this being her hometown. We arrived early and were able to check in. Julia at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. She inquired why we were in town and when I said we were there to do the Lucille Ball attractions, she immediately went and got me information that was very useful. Visiting a strange town she just made us feel comfortable and at home and we really appreciated it.
The hotel had everything you would need and breakfast is included in the morning and plenty of free parking. There is a gas station with an attached convenience store and McDonalds next to the hotel. There is also a Bob Evans restaurant across the road. The rooms were spacious and clean and would definitely stay here in the future and would recommend the property to anybody who is in the area.

Check in was easy, the room we got on the 1st floor (room 120)was great and had all standard amenities and working fridge! Room appeared to be cleaned until my daughter discovered some left clothes in the drawer and someones hair under the pillow later at night, we had that taken care off and the girl that was working the front desk sincerely apologized for this . Could've been worst...
Didn't get to use gym and pool but it was noisy until midnight, because some people were listening TV really loud... breakfast served by 2 kind ladies that were handling food wearing gloves, the breakfast area is specious and allows good distance 😊.

Update: On the way back home my family stayed at this hotel again, due to convenient location for us.
This time we got room on 3rd floor with better view, plus fridge that was working great, since I had some food that needed to stay cold. This room was a bit smaller, but CLEAN with lots of lighting. The girl at check in welcomed us back with a smile.
Breakfast was different since the last time we stayed, unfortunately the pancake machine was not working( and one of the lady's that was handling food kept forgetting to give us utensils...not a big deal though. Will be back

Dirty. Noisy. Obvious that carpet not vacuumed carefully. Toilet bowl was black under the rim. Shower in need of power wash - looked very grungy. Room 210 labelled for hearing impaired - which is a good thing because it is opposite the elevator and the hotel spared every expense when installing sound proofing. Floor in front of elevator on first floor had hideous looking stain (did they even try cleaning it?). Also, the only view from room 210 is the top of the awning over the front entrance.

My brother and myself stayed over one night in September. We were awakened by a radio of TV noise that lasted from midnight all night long. We called the front desk to ask if someone was in that room or if the housekeeping accidentally left a radio on. Yes, there were guests there so we politely asked if they could call them to turn the noise off. We heard no phone call and we told the front desk twice. Still no call. In the morning the staff said they would tell their manager Julie who when we called a few days later said she was never told. She said it wasn’t her problem and offered us 2000 future points. Unacceptable plus Julie was not very professional. We will now stay next door at the Hampton Inn

I was very happy to have chosen this hotel. It was close to the highway, quiet, and had a good breakfast. When we checked in I was asked if 4th floor was OK. The desk associate explained that there was a group checking in who had been a bit noisy on a previous visit, so she was booking others on 4th to be away from them. If that group came in, I never heard or saw them!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The lady at check-in was not very personable, without a smile, and the process took some time as my CC data had to be entered manually multiple times. The carpet on the corridor to our room was stained and quite dirty. The main issue was the cleanliness in our bathroom, which left much to be desired. There was a lot of black hair on the walls in the shower stall and all over the bathroom floor and behind the toilet. Actually quite disgusting. The mirror had not been cleaned in a while and had a lot of streaks. The area around the faucets also did not look very clean. There is definitely room for improvement and for the price I would have expected much better quality and cleanliness. You can also hear noises from the room beside and from above. We will not be back and cannot recommend this hotel.

They messed up our room reservations, and this is not the first time they did so. Upon questioning the front desk clerk, she said well “we don’t save rooms“. I said that’s exactly what you do with the reservation. A reservation is saving a room. They gave us two rooms. They just weren’t connecting like they were supposed to be, kind of reminds me of that commercial where you had to see your kids across the window. Anyway, the front desk clerk accuse me of being rude and threaten to throw me out. The problem is, I had called and made reservations with the IGH concierge service and we had a three-way call with the hotel staff. She the said we would never promise you Connecting rooms. I said that’s not true. I had a three-way phone call and I was told I would get connecting rooms. Anyways, this isn’t The first time I rented at the Holiday Inn for family the last time I had a horrible experience and the manager said please give us a second chance. Well, Manager this was your second chance and you blew it again. I would tell everybody in anybody do not stay there stay at the Hilton or anywhere else, but not at the holiday inn Jamestown. also the pool was dirty and cold. They said it was heated, but it clearly wasn’t.

So many events were going on and we were able to get a room at a great rate. The bed spreads were fresh. The bathroom was spacious. The morning breakfast and delicious hot coffee along with juices for my wife started our day just right. I was memorized by the fancy pancake making machine. If there was one thing; just one little thing. Apparently our guests upstairs have a baby elephant as a support animal. Our sleep though was very restorative. Conveniently, this is off I-86 and a mere 15 minutes from Chautauqua Institute, Comedy Center, Lucy Ball's Museum

JFK airport is in the New York City area, Jamestown is at the western end of New York State. You'd be far better off to fly into Buffalo, NY to get to this place.

The rooms have mini-fridges but not microwaves. There may have been a microwave in the lobby / breakfast area - but I am not certain of that.
