I stopped here after visiting the Hyde Park sites. The room was comfortable and smartly laid out. If you request a room facing the road you might not hear the train behind the hotel. The breakfast area was nicely decorated, very clean and well stocked. There are lots of shops nearby, and a great grocery next door. Atypical, but we’ll run Hampton Inn.

One word of advice......don't wear mascara to bed......they'll say its ashes and charge you a $250 smoking fee. Went back an hour later to check in out as I saw the fee on my bill and the sheets were "already washed" Bogus. I know this has zero impact on the company, but I won't be staying here again

The noise level was ridiculous. It was a constant orchestra of the train rumbling through and blowing its horn, the refrigerator cycling on and off while making a constant unusual loud buzz, the garbage trucks beginning at 4 am, the constant door slamming beginning at 3 am. I do not believe a different room would help with the train noise. With the exception of one employee, the staff did not meet the usual level of friendliness and concern. I couldn’t wait to leave.

The hotel itself is clean, organized, the small indoor pool is loads of fun for kids, the breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations and was a big hit with the kids; however, more than anything else the STAFF at this hotel were GREAT! They were super helpful, accommodating, and efficient. They easily handled not only my rambunctious crew but also a medical emergency with another guest with calm efficiency. They went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable, and we are very grateful.

We've been to this hotel before and really liked it. This time, we encountered an issue with the TV. We called the front desk and the young man came to check it out. When he couldn't fix it, they promptly changed the room. In the change, my daughter misplaced her phone and became frantic. This young man helped her search (it was in her boot, lol). He went over and above to assist us. This is the ONLY hotel we will use in the area. I'm very impressed.

Very comfortable room. Hallway was chilly, during the cold spell, but room was toasty warm. Hotel staff went out of their way to alert me that my friend had left clothes behind. Breakfast was typical for Hampton Inns. It was a busy Sunday morning and they paid attention to refreshing the buffet. Nice tv in room. Coffee machine in room as well as small refrigerator. Good shower pressure. Fairly quiet, noticed lots of families staying there. Overall, no complaints.

From check-in to check-out we were happy to have stayed here. Enjoyed my check-in cookies and water. The room (420) spacious and clean...I've very picky about hotel rooms and I was happy with the room. No dust, towels soft, etc. Clean lobby and hallways. Breakfast was amazing...waffles, eggs, meat, potatoes, breads, cereals, oatmeal (my favorites) with toppings for the waffles and oatmeals, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. The breakfast employee was friendly, helpful and always cleaning (she had to continuous clean the coffee area from the people who split their creamers). Hotel located next to......all types of stores. We utilized the mini fridge and microwave. Glad there was curtains that blocked the light as the parking lot lights are bright throughout the night. Pool looked inviting but didn't go in. I did use the gym equipment.....loved the Peloton bike!

The bed was a joke and the room and bathroom are clearly worn and in need of updating. I remember this Hampton Inn being better quality. However, it's easily been over 5 years since I stayed here. Staff was excellent and very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast had good options. The problems are with the room. The mattress was thin and very worn and there was actually a metal spring that had broken and was poking up. I could feel it through the sheet and mattress cover. There is what appears to be mold-stained caulk in the bathroom. And, the room just seems a little beat up. Lastly, the noise, which along with the mattress, prevented a good night's sleep. If you're not on the top floor you hear the people above you just walking around. You hear the toilet flushing from the room above. And if you want the outside light blocked out - - there are bright parking lot lights - - you're not going to get it here because the blackout curtain coverage is not wide enough and the light comes through the sides of the curtains.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. Your business is very important to us and we value your feedback. We will be due for renovations soon, and hope that will be able to address some of the concerns you mentioned. We did purchase all new mattresses in March 2022, so I am sad to hear you had issues with one of the mattresses, do you recall what room you stayed in so we can see if that mattress was damaged? By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future. We hope you will come back and see us again soon. Thank you again; we appreciate your loyalty to our brand.
