I was a guest at this hotel for a week, the hotel, room, and food was everything that you would expect, my problem is with the hotel management. I had checked out on Friday and headed home, Sunday night as I was packing for my travels the following week I realized that I had left an item behind at the hotel, I called the hotel and they confirmed that they were, indeed, in possession of the item which was a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones. The person I spoke with identified them beyond a shadow of a doubt (They opened the case) she said she would leave a note for the manager to expect my arrival between 5 and 6 the following day. The next day I left work early and drove 3.5 hours to retrieve my property upon arrival the headphones were nowhere to be found, the person I spoke to (At the hotel and in person) went as far as accusing the person I spoke with on the phone of lying, The person I spoke with said she would leave a message for the manager to call me the next day ---- THREE DAYS LATER AND STILL NO CONTACT FROM THE MANAGER. I also called the Hilton Diamond help line who opened a case and said that the manager would call me within 72 hours --------- STILL NO CALL. The fact that a member of management couldn't take the time to return a phone call shows an appalling lack of of concern for customer service and satisfaction. I know the 5 maybe 10 nights a year I might spend in this hotel will not affect their bottom line I can say that I will not return --- Because of management --- Because there is a possible thief in their office (The lack of a return call served to reinforce this idea in my mind) ---- And because of their lack of concern for customer service -- I took a 7 hour round trip journey to retrieve my property and they couldn't make a 2 minute phone call ?…
Very attentive staff that was very concerned about cleanness and safety. Room was nice with a large area including microwave and refrigerator. Staff was very helpful and nice answering all questions, will return again to this hotel when in area
Thank you for a quiet and restful place to lay our heads. I travelled with my daughter to the area for a 2 day get away for her birthday. Kingston is a very quant small town that we enjoyed walking around in. The town is a quick cab ride from the hotel.
We stopped for a night during a snowstorm and were greeted upon entry by a sweet and helpful woman at the front desk. Our room was clean and full of amenities. The shower had excellent pressure, beds were great, plenty of outlets to recharge your phones, iPads, etc., mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and we didn’t hear anything from other guests - so, our sleep was sound! The complimentary breakfast had many options including “make your own waffles”, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereals, assorted fruit, touch-free juice machine, and more. Plus, touch free hand sanitizer stands were located all over the hotel. CVS is right there a block away, and there’s tons of shopping and restaurants within a mile radius. At the front desk they have a “sundry” shop where you can purchase snacks and drinks 24/7. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pool was open, but the heater wasn’t working. We didn’t miss it. Played some cards in front of the fireplace downstairs before dinner out, and came back to sleep like babies.…
I needed a room as a family member was in the hospital. The room and rate were good. Breakfast had good variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room door was a little difficult. There is a pool and exercise room which I did not use. My room had a mini kitchen.
