This was my first time to attend "Americade", and I had NO idea which places were good/bad/indifferent. While I wasn't crazy about having to send a deposit and pay the balance in cash or traveler's check, Marion and Frank, the owners, were very friendly and accomidating. I may not ever go back to Americade, but I'll definitely be staying at... More

My friend and I stayed at Cramer's point for three returning seasons in the summer. The price is right and the owners are very nice. It takes a lot for me to give a bad review but last summer did it for me. Overall, we over looked the outdated rooms that have a mildew smell and are run down. However,... More

Flat out it's not the Hilton, but who wants that going to Lake George, I have been coming here for years. Cabins are very cozy, especially Cabins 20,21,22. My Family loves it, owners are great. The only thing I would change is the proximity to the lake. Little bit of a hike but who can argue with free row boats... More

This will be our ninth year going to Cramer's Point. We make our reservations every Spring as all our children and grandchildren want to make sure we get our same cabins, our home away from home. The playgrounds are great for the little ones and the boats are great for the older ones fishing trips. It is an easy ride... More

I recently stayed here for the Adirondack Nationals..it is my 5th time staying at Cramers Point, and there are reasons I keep coming back...clean, rustic cabins with all amenities, free canoeing, fire pit, two sparkling pools, nice sitting areas, close to village, well kept grounds, value, and the owners, Frank and Marion are very kind and accomodating..I feel most welcomed... There is NOT a trolly that picks you up out front to go to village, as I was told. Nobody is available in the office before 10am. The HIKE down to the lake is exhausting, especially when you have to carry the dirty life jackets and oars down with you. It's a small, windy, rocky path and forget the climb... More

I've been searching for perfect location for Labor Day Weekend and Cramer's Point seemed to work perfectly for us. I didn't expect a lot since the price was just right, but overall experience was just disappointing. Many little thinghs overshadowed our stay. Rentals are located way far away than I thought, from lake shore. And on the way back you... More

We’ve started a yearly tradition with friends of ours to go to Lake George, and picked Cramer’s after researching places online. I can’t believe how positive the reviews are of this place since I’ve never stayed at a more cramped, dirty and unmaintained property. From the moment we walked in, we were killing ants (there was a can of ant... More

Based on the many reviews posted here, my wife and I really thought Cramer's Point would be a great place to stay. The swimming pools and the playground equipment also attracted us as we were travelling with our young daughter. The reality of Cramer's Point was quite different from the positive reviews, however. The cabin was tiny, antiquated, and had... More

What a great family place! There is so much for the kids to do, several swing sets, fire pit, two saly water pools, hoseshoes, ping pong, the lake, and just exploring. The furnishings in the rooms are a bit outdated, but extremely clean. We just loved staying there and will return again!
