We were there in groups for two nights. We only use rooms, the rooms are decorated in a local manner based on the destination near by the rock hewn churches and has a big pool at the bath room. The hotel has a nice view. There were not any technological equipment in the room such as Tv, wifi, and others....

There is huge bathtub in bathroom, which is amazing but I don't think it is a good idea to put hot water in it ( Don't waste water in the middle of Lalibela ! ) It was not a great bathroom, though. Door wasn't shut properly. There is no toilet paper holder ( I accidentally dropped a roll in toilet...

A comfortable, quiet hotel at the edge of Lalibela, Yimreha is a 15 minute walk from the northern church complex. A quiet getaway that provided sound sleep, good wifi and pretty good cuisine in the restaurant. Wifi was great too. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower which management said is being fixed. Great price with peace...

We went from Addis for Ethiopian Christmas (Gena) which was on January 7, 2014. I reserved twin beds by phone from Addis and it was an excellent experience with the reservation. However, the rooms are poor with old furniture and the curtain can not be closed properly. They shutdown the water two days to conserve according to the insider information!...

The rooms look nice, with the decorated furniture. However, the construction quality is very poor. My first room was full of water dripping down from the ceiling when I returned in the evening. After notifying reception, they came to mop up the water, but left without addressing the fact that water was still dripping from the ceiling. When I went...

I have visited this hotel recently and been allocated one of the new rooms. The room was actually quite nice, furnished with local products. No tv or other modern amenities. Hot water was always there, food was nice and people pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group, so can’t comment on price/value. We stayed in the newer rooms. Our room was quite large with two double-size beds, a wardrobe (with no shelves), a couch, two chairs and a coffee table. The furniture is locally made and decorated. The floors are tiled. The room was very clean....

Our first impressions of the Yemereha Hotel were not good. Rubbish was being burnt beside the restaurant. There was no water or electricity in the rooms. The parking area and paths between the bedroom blocks and restaurant were unpaved and uneven. Things improved a bit...water and electricity arrived! Our room was adequate with Mosquito nets and some interesting pieces of...

About one month ago we booked 5 double rooms for 2 nights (January 4th and January 5th) by Greenland, the company that own this hotel. We paid 950 USD ! When we arrived they gave us large but very bad rooms, with beds only (no other furniture). Towels were dirty. Roofs and walls were dirty, spotted and broken too. There...
